Last night I bought myself a Anker Astro E1 5200mAh Ultra Compact Portable Charger from Amazon for £10 so I'll now be able to charge my phone in my pocket on the go.

I'm going to camping in June to the international sea shanty festival in Falmouth so I'm gonna get myself a 20,000mAh power pack which will give me about seven charges to my phone. It'll cost around £30.

Couldn't find my SDxUSB adapter for ages, so I bought myself a new one.

Needless to say I found the old one straight thereafter.

Logitech Harmony One Universal Remote - not having half-a-dozen remotes laying around is worth the money. The initial setup does require some work but defiantly well worth the effort.

$349.99 for a remote?! How many devices to you need it for for it to be worth the money?

ONE - the wife. She has a phobia and a complete lack o understanding how remote work and which one to use, therefor the need for a programmable one so she only needs to press one button and then select her favorite channel.

It keeps me sane and her alive. :)

I originally built one using an Ardurino Uno board and Wireless and IR sensors, however 50% of the household found this solution clumsy, ugly, not user friendly and difficult to use; hence the Harmony. One remote that control just about everything (including the security, heating, cooling and lighting systems) at the push of a button.

Happy wife is a happy life, $350 was a small price to pay.

I use it frequently, it's excellent. It's still very handy to have a remote at hand though.
