Trailer for Suicide Squad has been released. Looks like it could be a fun movie. Interested to see Leto's take on the Joker.

Oh. Margot Robbie.

Straight Outta Compton

Well worth the wait, this is definitely going to be one of the best films this year. Wasn't one of them films that takes a while to get into cos it's quite gripping from the start (especially if you're into NWA/that era). Excellent performances from Eazy & Cube and the film covers pretty much everything including Death Row/Suge Knight.

Just a brilliant film. Wasn't expecting it to be this good at all.

Watched inside out the other day. Thought it was very cleverly done. Reminded me of Wreck it Ralph.

Football Factory is good. Whatever you do, avoid Green Street. I watched it again recently and had to turn it off after about 30 minutes, it's that cringe worthy.

Anyone seen Straight Outta Compton yet? fornicate brilliant, watched it again yesterday. Film of the year.

Yeah green street is pretty bad. I remember seeing a trailer for the second one which made the first one look good.

What about Escape to Victory?

Just saw Compton. Thought it was fantastic, I honestly didn't think it'd be this good.

fornicate good innit. I'm a bit biased cos I love the 80s/90s West Coast music and the G Funk thing but it's getting rave reviews everywhere.

9/10 for me.

Absolutely, and I think it'll probably appeal to people who aren't into rap at all as well.

Friday night film: The Game. Fincher's 'sort of' followup to Seven. Really looking forward to this.

I really love watching this film again and again. Pure adrenaline!

However, nothing to do with Seven apart from Fincher having directed both of them.

if you like Stephen Chow's movies, check out the Journey to the West 2014 film. A good laugh but not sure if you guys are into Chinese movies. Basically it is from one of the popular chinese novels and they changed a bit from the novel.

'Cass' is a good hooligan movie. I always liked 'When Saturday Comes' as a kid but don't know if it will have stood the test of time.

I watched two films recently.

Shawshank Redemption - Not going to bother posting much on this as most have probably seen it but I thought it was brilliant, I like films like that. A little long but did not drag on or get boring at all.

Into The Wild - Recommended on here ages ago. I finally got round to watching it, one of the best films I've seen for sure. I get why you'd want to do something like that but he was naive to the extreme. It's quite a chilling story tbh. If anyone knows of anything similar (doesn't have to be survival based) then feel free to recommend.

Gladiator - Really liked this one but the ending was a bit shit and left me wanting more, not in a good way.

Moonlight - Beautifully filmed but even worse ending. Decent but over hyped.
