I recently started watching Banshee. Its a Cinemax show, which is owned by HBO so its shown on HBO in Canada and probably elsewhere. Its fornicate awesome. Its about an ex-con who becomes the sheriff of this small town in pennyslvania which is run by this Amish mobster. A lot of action, fighting and a lot of T&A. I would highly recommend it.

Banshee is so shit.

My missus and I watched the entire first season and I can honestly say that few times in my life have I come across something so moronic and poorly written as fornicate Banshee.

It makes Prison Break look like it was made for intellectuals.

To US residents here. Anyone uses comcast's X1? Is it worth it especially multiple recording of shows while away? Thinking to upgrade my bundle with Comcast currently at $75 with 11 SD channels and 25 Mbps. If I push for the minimum triple play it would be at $130.

I see what you're saying Mav. It's not very smart but I actually find Banshee very entertaining. Very fast paced and the fight scenes are quality - that's the best thing about the show.

Some shows you watch for the quality and intelligence of the plot/script (see Suits) but some shows are just entertaining. I love Grimm for instance. Anyone watch it?

Did anyone see that Scientology documentary on HBO? I reckon one of our American posters must have seen it.

Torrented it and it's meant to be superb.

I loved the mentalist but its one of those shows you either love or hate. I liked Simon Baker as an actor so I wanted to check out his "new" (at the time) show and then I got hooked. Some impartial people may not find it so intriguing..

If you ask me I highly recommend it.. It just suits my personal taste.

Nah, 10 episodes each an hour long, it's a standard format (same as Game of Thrones) equal in length to a 13x 45min series.

edit.
Just watched the second episode and that one was 45mins, so if they're all like that from now on it is indeed a little shorter than most shows.

Yes - it's set before he had anything to do with WW.

In fact, he's knows as Jimmy McGill in this so hasn't even taken the name Saul yet.
Well worth a watch (it's on Netflix atm and various other places if you know what I mean)

First two seasons were good.

I've only watched 2 episodes of S3.. Been busy with other stuff but hopefully will find the time to watch the rest of the episodes soon..

Anyone watched the third season of house of cards? It was still entertaining but a bit weaker and still a lot of bits require the suspension of disbelief.
