If anyone has a copy of The Times today, the person in the brown coat with a bag over her shoulder looking at the flowers on page 81, is me!
haha ! you must be so lucky then to get pictured among those thousands of people ;)

Thanks for the picture's (Y) Would have loved to be there myself.

I didn't had the time to watch the whole ceremony on manutd.com (at first I didn't even now it was free to watch for everyone, thanks for telling janet!) but I'm really glad I saw Harry Gregg, what a comedian, I loved the way how he involved Sir Bobby Charlton to confirm his funny stories. Nobby Stiles was also very entertaining.

Good to see the Manchester city 'tribute' on that picture :)

Nice pictures there peeps and very nice to hear the comments about my grandad aswel, thank you

We had live feed to outside on the minutes silence and everyone did us all proud, it was a moving moment for all of us

May the babes live on in the memories of everyone, and im definatly sure it will now

My Granddad was a box of nerves he didnt even know he was going to be up on stage until just before the the service started, i was sat directly behind Bill Foulkes i think we were about 10-15 rows from the front or so

Your appreciation goes world wide guys Thanks!

Daniel? Any chance you can pursuade Harry, or any of the other legends, to give us an informal interview? If it is possible we could prepare some questions from all members and email them to you to ask of him... assuming he doesnt want to come online and do it live :P

It would be an absolute honour if that were to be made possible.

What I like eh? You may regret saying that

And I have to admit, when I was watching that video I thought it was from the wrong position to have been taken by you (as I remember you were squashed in next to me) but just assumed. Bu anyhoo, brings back memories. Ah I remember it like it was yesterday...

Luthien -One final point I would like to make is that now 8 people off this board have heard me speak (amongst the coughing) they will be able to confirm that my accent does not in any way even remotely resemble that of an inhabitant of Liverpool., isn't that right Alex?

lol, erm, erm not at all ;) :P (just teasing, Leanne) :lmao:

It was lovely meeting you and everyone, thanks for sharing this bittersweet day with us.

Thank you to all for the photo's and being there for those who couldn't be and to Kim and Siti for the flowers and tribute. I'll be taking more flowers on Sunday. It must have been emotionally draining for all who were there. I would have loved to have been there but seeing as the state I was in here, watching it all from home with a box of tissues close to hand(and well used!), it's probably best that I wasn't! I've been emotionally drained all week and now we all just have Sunday to get through...the pics of the City scarves give me some hope-along with the honoured silence last night.
1966 was a great year for English football. Eric was born!
