Wonderful photos...I have never seen many of them and really can't help myself from crying while watching them. I have always wished to get old and to die a peaceful death and the way they died and so young...it's too much even for me and It takes a lot for me to start crying.
I feel the same way Angie. It's so hard not to cry at such a heart-wrenching tragedy.

That picture of Sir Matt Busby always reminds me stories I read about him, he was a strong man, physically, mentally and spiritually(not religion). He is a true Legend, not just for football but as a man.

R.I.P. to you Sir, and all the lost ones in the crash.

it is heartbreaking to see the pics of the players at the dinner and playing cards on the plain, not knowing what is about to happen...
just tragic.

That just sends a shiver all the way down my spine. The last time i cried was the day after my dad's funeral 3 years ago- until i started looking through these photos. I had to go out into the car park to compose myself. RIP to them all.

I know how you feel mate, those pictures of the crash and the menu are real chokers. And the one of Sir Matt Busby in the oxygen really got to me. RIP :(

Some famous photos but no matter how many times you see them, they are still sad. Had not seen Edwards grave before, that was very sad.

Matt was given the Last Rites twice, there were Nuns around his bed praying for him when he woke up, it reaffirmed his belief in God, that's one of the things that gave him strength to go on

What was really special was when they did his story on This is your life" They brought the Doctor and the Nurses onto the show, Matt had kept in touch with all of them after Munich

I remember George Best saying "He was the nicest human being I ever met"

If Bestie doesn't say that, I don't know who will, if it wasn't for Sir Matt, Georgie would have been gone long before he actually did. If it wasn't him United wouldn't be what it is today(with a very special mention to Sir Alex).

You just don't realise just how real it is until you see pics and videos.

Those pictures, from Condor and Tom, are unique in the way that they made me feel like I was travelling back in time.
The pictures are so... real, if you know what I mean.
I felt closer to that team, to that moment and to those who lived, personally, that tragedy.

Thank you

Today many years have passed, the older fans disappear as time catches up with them and us also in time. Manchester United and the immortal legacy that the 6th February has left us all cannot EVER be forgotten, everyone always must see the images and to know how one fatefull plane crashing changed the course of our club and our world.

Strange it is that our own living[and some departed] legends may never have graced our shirt, our ground our lives as the boys in 1958 had so much more to give and so much more to learn, taking Bobby as a prime example he went on to win it all and lasted a further 14 years, some might say we would never have needed the "King", others agree that with the way our scouting system was set up the likes of wee little Georgie could still have been trawled in the net, but he may have had to wait a little longer to make his impact.

Those boys have gone, history and events were changed, it was Gods will to take them for his own needs but we as mere mortals cannot understand such words or in many cases find it hard to accept and to deal with, but as life can only move on and never backwards we must feel good about all the happy times and the winning ways that eventually our new boys managed to aspire too and despite the most recent events withing the last week, if not now but we will recover and go on to further glories, we will never die, we will never die as MANCHESTER UNITED will never die.
