Greetings from the other end of the East Lancs Road...

Liverpool fan and occasional Rawkite here, so I guess that already puts me on shaky ground!

I’ve supported Liverpool since the 80s (glory hunter la la la) and stuck with them through my adult life while they’ve been decidedly sans perch. These days I go to most league games at Anfield (no aways, not enough time) and consume as much football as I can.

I’m not looking for fights and arguments. I consider myself in the school of Shankly/Busby when it comes to the rivalry between our clubs. Biggest of rivals, but can still respect each others achievements at the end of the day. I’m not a “this year is our year” type and try to see things from all sides, though the inevitable bias is stronger on matchdays ;)

So, not looking to cause trouble, just interested in some football banter with likeminded souls. I come in peace and all that! Happy to discuss Liverpool, other football et al.

What Matt said. You be nice to us , we be nice to you. One of my best friends at work is a sworn [strike]dipper[/strike] liverpool fan and we get on very well despite that

I have a nephew and brother in law who are Man U fans and I haven't disowned them yet, so I think we'll be good.
