The bad news is that Jose has told everybody that he playing the A team
He has spent all week moaning about having to play

Doesn't he realise the club has a mountain of unsold tickets
That won't make him popular in the Caymans

I think should start with pretty much close to the starting team for Stockholm, maybe not anyone who played on Weds, then rest 3 key players at 45/60mins - treat it like a high profile trainming session - no "kitchen sink" tackles and everything aimed at the final and sod the outcome of this match.

At the very least Pogba, Herrera, Valencia, Rashford and MickyT need to get to stretch their legs a little and get some of the cobwebs blown out of their heads.

Play the way Spurs played the nothing on it game against Leicester last night
By dicking Leicester by 6 and Harry Kane scoring a huge number more than Zlatan the great ever did for United he/they has sent a serious message out for next season

Many of you see this as a nothing game
United have been selling it in the Far East as Wayne Looneys last game at Old Trafford
Everybody in the commercial department is smiling

Jose suggested that he will play the youngsters on the reserve squad, but he admits that it won't be a good idea lol.

I don't see any sense in playing Pogba and risking an injury. He's been out for about a week only, it's not like he's out shape all of the sudden. We've all seen how we look without him. If he gets injured Jose will look like an idiot. I wouldn't play anybody that will play on wednesday

i'm interested to see Angel Gomez

I just want a good match, and I hope the kids would have an attacking performance in front of Old Trafford.

Sounds good on the surface but I wouldn't analyze it too much.

Me too. I think there is a part of every United fan that would just love to see a starting lineup for a final with this many youngsters in it. But I don't guess that will happen.

Josh Harrop scores on debut and has scored 4 goals this week! Really glad he got his chance today!

Angel Gomes got a few minutes at the end and becomes the first PL player to be born in the 21st century (!) and the youngest United player since the legendary Duncan Edwards! (f)

Just read an amazing stat that Gomes completed more passes in the final third in his 6 minutes on the pitch than Rooney did in his 88 mins on the pitch

I don't get how Rooney got so bad to be honest. Firstly, he's not that old, but more importantly, he was once a really talented footballer (granted, that was like 6 years ago)

Apparently there was some talk of fining us for fielding a weakened side.

That is well harsh, as Rooney is only 31 and had Gomes been on from the start it would have been seriously unkind to Palace.
