I can see Utd scoring with 10 men than St Ettienne scoring with 11.

Great! I'm stunned at how lightheadedly Jose blew it with one of his main men for Sunday's final.
Yeah he made miki pull his hamstring didn't he?

You can't stop injuries and you can't not play everyone you want for the next match. If he's out of the final it's unfortunate but so be it. Can hardly blame Jose for it
i can and i do blame Jose for this.First he complains about fixtures congestion then he play the strongest team before a final. If you don't trust fringe players against an avergae team with 3 goals lead then i don't see the point of having them at the club. Also there was no need to play a strong team against Championship side Blackburn.

We only just beat Blackburn.

Who would you have played over miki?

Lingard is the obvious choice. He's a defensive winger with stamina, he's fresh and ready to prove himself. I wouldn't play Lingard regulary but he's ok enough for cup games

A very professional win, we did exactly what was needed to keep control of the game and not give Saint-Etienne a chance of getting started. This has been something of a common thread over the half-a-dozen games, nothing glamorous just very professional outings.

For this game I agree since there's three goal lead but no one knows what will happen against Blackburn. To lose to a championship side would be bad.

Job done.

Im surprised that Jose played all his top guns but cant be blamed to making sure of qualification - he probably wanted to pull Zlatan or Pogba at some stage but due to injuries and the red he was unable too.

It was a pretty simple game and only an hour flight - the team should be ok for sunday
