Zlatan is real lucky to still be on the pitch and the play will probably be reviewed.

The ref has lost it, Jose sub off Ibra for Rashford as he is so close to the line, Bournemouth down to 10 when really Ibra and Mings should have been sent off.

Mings was horrible stamp, Ibras elbow was stupid

I think he honestly didn't realise he was on a yellow when he booked him otherwise he wouldn't have given him a second yellow.
You could tell he realised he fornicate it all up when he remembered.
Boruc chasing after the ref was more of a yellow than Surman

Jones is struggling but I guess Wilshere will now come on for Afobe so that should give him some breathing space.

Pogba was utter dogshit. I'm sick of seeing him fornicate up left right and centre when he's further up the pitch.

6thchester United. The curse continues. Pathetic and really not up to the challenge. Only the first 20 minutes are vibrant but couldn't score the early goals and thank you Phil Jones for helping them.

Why is everyone surprised?
This is our level, 6th.. Ray said it, and this just proved it. How many chances do we need to score?? How many??? Only have ourselves to blame.

and pogba.. lol, the less said, the better.. TWO GREAT CHANCES IN THE END.. Why does he seem so nervous when we are chasing the victory? so many easy passes he misplaced.

I'm just fed up, best chance is europa league, because I can see us dropping more points..

Bournemouth at home? lol.. 10 men??
West Ham home.. draw
Stoke.. draw
Burnley.. home
Hull.. home

So absolutely fornicate wasteful, this game should have been put away within the first 20 minutes. I have lost count of the number of times we have squandered the chance to make up ground on a top four position only to come out and make the opposition goalkeeper look like Buffon or Oliver Kahn in their prime.

On paper there wasn't too much wrong with the team selection. This was a good game to give Shaw a much needed run out and Jones and Rojo were a good pairing over the Christmas when Bailey was at the Africa Cup and Smalling carrying an injury. The pairing of Carrick and Pogba for the most part worked, they did get caught a little too far forward now and again and that left the back four exposed. To the best of my recollections playing Rooney behind Zlatan hasn't worked. Wile Rooney had energy and pace it worked but once he started to get tired and Bournemouth started packing the middle there where too any people in too little space. The less said about the refereeing the better it was piss poor, this game should be used as an example of how not to referee a game.

A very sporting gesture from Mourinho; once Bournemouth went down to 10 men bringing on Fellaini so we would be playing at equal strength. The only way that Fellaini should be played is like Chief in "One flew over the cuckoo nest", play him in the box and just put the ball in the hole. I would not put this lose down to any individual, it was a team effort; maybe it was underestimating them thinking they would just roll over and have their bellies scratched. Maybe we thought we could bully them into submission, in any case this game and one like it will end up defining our season.

Couldn't agree more,we seem incapable of breaking down massed defences especially at home.So predictable.

Perhaps we would be better off playing our games away from home.Teams in the lower half of the table always play their best game of the season especially the goalkeepers. :grr:

Fuk sake Day gets worse! So much for relying on the GOONERS!! I wrote on another forum saying I hope this isn't going to be a lull patch for us because TBH we scraped the Final & we struggled to finish off today. We miss Mkhit a lot, only classic style Utd player besides Martial who's football is direct. Plus IMO Mkhit works well with Mata. Can't wait for the next match so I can forget today which has already dampen the EFL final win.

There's some top quality judges of the game on this forum isn't there

We miss everybody until they play and then when they play shit you blame Wazza
What exactly did Zlatan the great do today
He did no worse than Wazza and at the same time was a sly fornicate, which i hate
He is totally immobile
Slower now than Sheringham and Berba

Pogba is a long long way off running an English game like Hazard and de Bruyne and Silva do
Shaw is finsihed but you lot still want o give him another 3 or 4 seasons
Crying out for a quality centre half to play alongside Bailly. We have been for 3 years but that costs dividend money
Carrick shouldn't be expected to play 4 games in 2 weeks but again a replacement costs money

Good news is that our official taxi company,Uber, was lined up to take the Chinese to the Thomas Cook hotels
All had smiles,50/50 scarves and a shit load of souvenirs so all is well

I think we are at our level,League cup and Europa league. This team is unlikely to take us any further.

I was pleased to hear Jose say,at his press conference on Friday, that he will be bringing in new players in the summer that will take us to another level.
Hopefully they include a goalscorer who finds it easy to put away good chances because apart from Zlatan we find it almost impossible.
No other player is in double figures in all competitions. :(

Oh boy, Zlatans finally had himself a bad game a look whos returned

It's not a case of Zlatans finally had a bad game so i've returned
It's a case of facing the truth of which Zlatan is only a part i'm afraid
You might as well have said "We have finally got to a cup final so look who's turned up!!.The Glazers"
All of them at Wembley last week

No the truth is deeper than that
Zlatan has scored a lot of goals pro rata but at what expense?
For me he has hekd up the development of Martial and to a level RasfordSo much so that Martial wanted to leave in the December window and we don't know what his request might be at the end of this season

Jose has made United's opinion clear
He wants to keep Rooney and Zlatan and i think that might encourage Martial to ask for a transfer

This team is lacking in every position
You have seen it clearly in the last 2 games if you bother to open your eyes

Pick your way through
DDG-Fine

Valencia_has had a good season but is getting older and is just not a natural fullback at the top level

Shaw-Not the slightest hint that there is any forward progress.A shame and i know some of you think he should be given another 2 or 3 seasons to recover but get a dose of reality

I don't know where Bailly was against Bournemouth but Smalling in the final and Jones against Bournemouth backed up by various positional combinations of Rojo and Blind tell you how far away we are

Midfield
Well if Pogba is worth £90 million as a player i know nothing about football!!
He might well become a very very good player but he isn't at the moment
More concerned with his hair, his sports clothes and his boot sponsorship deal
A typical current United player
Great salesman but average player

Take your pick out of the others
Herrara,Mata,Schweinsteiger,Carrick,Fellaini,Rooney
Whoever doesn't play should have played in the eyes of you lot when we turn in average performance followed by average performance
We were 6th,we are 6th and we are likely to finish 3th which will put the Griezman deal in serious doubt
He is a champions league quality player and i don't think he will want to prostitute himself as a shirt selling number 7 in the having a laugh league especially as he can earn the same elsewhere and play at the top level

Up front we don't have any natural wide players
Zlatan is acknowledged as a luxury by most of the people i know
He has been described correctly as currently at the level, speed and ability as Berbatov or Sheringham
After seeing the cowardly subtle elbow he gave in the throat on Saturday i can't say i was surprised that those on here that are so quick to slaughter Fellaini for being a thug have "vanished"
Zlatan will probably correctly get a 3 match ban

By the way there is very very little coming through the reserves

So where do we go from here
Well if you are happy with the egg cup then little to do in the summer
Get Pele out of retirement to replace Wazza
Pele will sell shirts

Let Carrick retire but don't replace him
Schweinsteiger will clearly go as well
If Martial leaves then Lingaard is a cheap replacement

Most important position will be a shirt selling number 7 to find

Ah well!!
