I think Fellaini will start in this to prepare others for second lag against Anderlact.

I think Carrick will miss out, and Herrera will probably come in.

I can see Young come in, and us playing a weird formation.

1-1 if we are lucky, don't feel confident at all.

A win against the Champions Elect would give us a big boost - we haven't really had a good scalp of our rivals this season.

I think we should go for it - we are at home - Chelsea would probably be happy with a point

i cant wait to see the magic captain Fellaini and Lingard will produce...

but seriously i expect a draw. Even if we lose it won't be a disaster since we're the underdogs for top4 but i'll probably still be pissed

A draw would be nice, but a win will definitely boost our confidence. The draw against Anderlecht didn't really help us.

I just hope the team will avoid injuries to key players. Anderlact is a more important game.

To say the least I have some trepidation about this game, especially after Spurs winning on Saturday, because Chelsea are going to want to maintain their lead and make a statement at the same time. Mourinho is going to have to pull another strategical and tactical masterpiece out of his hat lie he did in the FA Cup game, it worked until Herrera's ejection and then we just ran out of players. We could have the same problem this time around.
DeGea
Bailey. Blind. Rojo
Valencia. Herrera. Pogba. Shaw
MickyT. Zlatan. Rashford
I can't believe it. I can't believe it. Football. Bloody hell.

In my heart of hearts I would also be surprised to see that lineup. I am fully expecting to see Fellaini starting as part of a three man midfield.

And you lot have the balls to call me negative

A few think a draw would be a good result and a few moan about Fellaini and Lingard who the manager loves
Both are average squad players but both have played better than the £90m man haven't they this season

Joze Ruis thinks top 4 is not likely but will probably still be pissed

Of how expectations and acceptances have fallen

0:5 after seeing the line-up. Those players scored 12 goals alltogether this season. This is pathetic. Fella as captain would crown it, after all, Young is also sad choice.

Football has no logic. Happy to be wrong. Great team performance. Chavski without shot on target. There is no place to criticize some individualities after such perfornance. Great result, great performance, important points, amazing boost for players and supporters, result we really needed.

Performance of the season, pace and passing the ball around like we used too.
Need to build on it though for the rest of the season

One of the most disciplined performances we have put in in years, everyone did exactly what was asked and we played like a team again.

MOTM - where the hell to start?
Bailey and Rojo just absolutely fearless, they didn't put a foot wrong all afternoon.
Darmian may have played his best game since arriving at Old Trafford.
Valencia turned in another outstanding performance and never looked pressed or phased.
Fellaini was all over the pitch (in a good way), was under total control and was a figgin nuisance.
Pogba appeared to have a quiet game but I'll ask does anyone remember anything good that either Kante or Matic did.
Young didn't have an ounce of energy left at the end of the game.
Lingard was another dynamo, he caused the Chelsea back line fits by turning up anywhere.
Rashford will be responsible for David Luis spending thousands on therapy this week. His speed and drive where exactly what we needed for this game. Not only did his drives at goal did cause Chelsea fits his crosses and linking up from either side where really excellent.
Herrera; a wonderful assist for Rashford's goal, scores a goal and managers not to get arrested for stalker Hazard. It will take Hazard weeks to shake the feeling there is not someone on his shoulder.

So I guess the MOTM must be DeGea

Great performance, best of the season.Gary Neville reckoned the pace and movement of the forwards was the best he had seen from United in years.

A great confidence booster at just the right time.

Truly magnificent TEAM performance. Well played Jose for getting the tactics spot-on and for the team responding with tireless running, proper concentration and the kind of tempo we have been praying for. Great stuff!

Just before the game I took out a subscription to DAZN (German commentary) to watch the game in HD, can't believe my luck that it turned out to be well worth it.

Oh dear me

It appears my worthless opinions have been correct all season eh

Without Zlatan the great Chelsea didn't have a fornicating clue where the point of attack was coming come
Was it Rashfords pace and energy or Valencia's overlapping or Youngs guile
Without Zlatan slowing it all down the energy was electic as shown by both the performance and the result

I know we are incapable in the opinion of some bad judges on here but we did particularly well without Mikki

You all slaughter Fellaini, indeed you did before the game but what a game
He broke up everything and won everything in the air

What a tremendous team performance
The quicker Zlatan throws the dummy out of the pram and moves on the better to a club that matches his ambitions

Ps Ben-You can't blame Wazza for anything today
Ps Arizona-You couldn't be further from understanding the game than the distance between Old Trafford and Arizona
