Three attacking substitutions.....wonder if Mourino has finally seen the light and accepted convertion to the United way :D

A very disciplined and professional performance, even thought not to my taste masterful in the execution.

Great result and very happy that we are in the Champions League again!

Tbf we've attacked and created chances at home and against lesser teams away but we've lacked a bit of width - I know it's not ideal, but I think Mourinho will always defend away against the bigger teams I think.

It's what he's built his success on really

yeah theyll have to qualify..we go straight to the group stage LOL
Now to make this really remarkable; we qualify automatically and Liverpool get knocked out in the qualifications.

Surprisingly delighted about this trophy. Hope it's just the start. Jose finally looks happy. Let's enjoy this win and get back to it over the next couple of weeks. This is nice, but the league and champions league is better and that's where we want to be at

Most pleaseing thing is that we won this trophy and became only the 5th club tto have won the full set. Hoiwever we MUST build from this and we need a massive improvement next season!

Still a trophy is a trophy and right now Im quite smiley

Our football hasn't been great at times this season but we did well in every competition other than the League and I'm hoping for a big improvement there next season.
Like everyone else, feeling very up over this victory (Y)

I thought Michael Owen expressed the way I feel.

No doubt Jose will win us trophies, but he refuses to add width and play expansively.

That hurts for a Red Devil.

Owen can shove his opinion up his ass.

We'll see what Jose do in transfer market.

Absolutely buzzing after last night - not the prettiest performance but the team and Jose did a job on that Ajax team without reply. It was a fairly comfortable game throughout actually.

MickyT and Rashford didn't have the greatest games but they kept going and MickyT was awarded with a lovely finish,

You could clearly see the joy and relief from Jose - so much pressure going into those last few weeks.

He has a massive job to do in the summer - we will have to majorly improve a lot of areas in the summer and the hard work will begin soon but its time to celebrate and enjoy this win - 3 trophies in Jose's first season......gotta be happy with that

So Liverpool finished 4th, right?
All of a sudden, 4th place and still having to qualify seems a **** compared to winning a European cup and actually being in the CL, and to having the pull of CL in the transfer market

Probably right not to have a parade to be honest -don't think its the right time to celebrate when the city is in mourning

This also now means that we're the most successful team in English football, regardless of which way Liverpool fans like to slice it.

We've also won every major honor it's possible to win as well, including the Intercontinental Cup and the Club World Cup

Honestly, I'd speak to City about holding a joint parade for Manchester, and invite the families of the victims, ending with a celebration of the victims lives, rather than celebrating our win, at the arena.

I see what Phil is saying, and it would work for a city like Newcastle, but as we have 2 clubs, you'd need to do things slightly differently.

Maybe both clubs could have a friendly and all proceeds go to the families?

The problem with City is, actually, they have nothing to celebrate.
