Pogba and young players

Wed Jun 14, 2017 4:51 pm

Did anybody see the France v England game last night and appreciate what Pogba is capable of when he is playing with fast quality players

You run and he will find you
Actually reminded me a bit of Scholes last night
It just shows you how Zlatan screwed this team up with his inability to run

No doubting his class and no doubting his experience but his testimonial pace took a lot of excitement away

It'sa fair point. Zlatan offered invaluable goals and experience, but he did slow down play. Now that he's moved on hopefully Jose will unleash a fast paced attack machine on the PL next season....

Agreed but I'm not sure Zlatan has movd on.I wouldn't be surprised if he signed a 6 month contract in January if he proves his fitness.

Besides, the rest of the team love him around so might be a good idea.

I thought he was in advanced talks with LA Galaxy?

Although he has no contract I've heard he is staying at United while he rehabilitates and gets fit again.
I don't think he wants to go,bless him.

If Jose planning to sign someone, I don't see him staying to be someone's backup. Zlatan is never a long term solution anyway.

For the same logic Rooney is bad for the team too.

The club were link with wingers and strikers,if some of it go through then we'll see a much faster team.

Pogba created over 60 chances this year. He picked out some amazing runs. We just couldnt finish his play

I agree with the Zlatan sentiments. We can really use a younger and faster squad for the upcoming season.

Seems like Morata will be coming - is he fast enough? Clinical enough?

he's fast enough to get away from Ed

He is a typical United player
With having been at Madrid the Chinese shirt buyers know all about him
With not being able to get into the Madrid team he shows he is not quite top top class so will be that bit cheaper

These are just rumors. He won't leave Europe. He has at least a year or two in him to play in the toughest of leagues in Europe. However, ACL injury can shape up his move to LA but it's not true as of now.

Well, I am not a fan of Morata. I don't believe he has the quality as his price tag.

In todays football market I don't think that the price tag or a player makes any sense at all. Is Eric Dier worth 50M? Not even close but because he is English, already playing the premier league and has Spurs (Levy) doing the negotiations and its no wonder the price is stupid. Add the fact that its United doing the buying and that ups the price another few million.

The football transfer market has been turned on its head by the television money, every team can either refuse a transfer because they don't need the money or off silly money for medium talent.
I can't believe it. I can't believe it. Football. Bloody hell.

two points to answer

1 Are United indeed doing the buying or is it just another shit talking competition that United fans seem to love to speculate on

2 The TV money is indeed monstrous but more significant imo is the Far East megastore market and the Far East and Middle East sponsorship
If that ever dries up the game would be in the shit and the interesting thing with the megastore money is that it has no contract length
If the Chinese ever got the hump or the currency got screwed it could end as quickly as it started
At that point teams with players like United/Wazza/Zlatan etc who are paid by the shirt ,as opposed to anything else could be in trouble
