Paul Pogba

Sounds like we're whipping out a pretty penny to bring him back form Juventus:

If SAF still has any measure of control I'm sure he'll sabotage the fax machine on this one if reports are to be believed. Monumental miss....

I'd put my mortgage on him going to Real Madrid. He wants it, they want it, we seem to be the back up plan.

Exceptional player, but not worth that money. I would try to get both Kante and Modric for that money!

I don't watch any Serie A....so my knowledge only comes from champions league and international.....great player...big, strong (at times) and a wicked shot but I feel we should maybe put our money towards 2 world class CM's

Rooney for me shouldn't be placed in midfield just because he's Wayne Rooney...........A Kroos/Modric is needed along with some steel....a Kante type.

If we get Pogba ill be well chuffed as well - he is better than anything we currently have but not sure if he;s worth a world record bid

Slightly more. 200M + Rooney, I reckon.

I just feel Pogba is massively overrated. He's a brilliant player, no doubt, but I don't think he's anywhere as good as people make him out to be. This will come as a shock to most but at this moment, if I were to choose between one of Kante and Pogba, I'd choose Kante

Most likely because he is very good for his age. He is still just 23/24 years old.

From what I have seen I agree. Granted I don't watch Serie A, but whenever I see him in European competition or internationals I'm not overly impressed. The first couple times I thought, well I have caught him on an off day, but at this point I have still never seen a performance from him to blow me away.

I think it would be a good message to sign Pogba, and Mourinho would probably get a lot out of him, but considering how so many of our signings have gone in the last 3 years, I feel this might be another one of those.

Yep! Its on like Donkey Kong.
Manchester United chief executive Ed Woodward has begun negotiations in the last 48 hours that could see Paul Pogba return to Old Trafford in a world record deal worth £100m, Sky Sports News HQ understands.

Seems like a massive overspend but it makes no difference to me as my last name isn't Glazer, so I'm excited all the same!!!

Could this be the best transfer window we have had? total quality.

We don't seem to be messing about anymore.....we have lost out in some good players in the past due to too much faffing.

The question is.....if we nab Pogba....are we finished or do we expect more signings? I know JM stated he wanted 4 but another defender might be nice

I don't remember the actual quotes from Mourinho's press conference and don't have the time to look them up; but ...

I thought it was interesting during Mourinho press conference that he said there where 4 positions he wanted to address, he never said he was limiting hisself to 4 players. He also said that he wanted all the player to he happy with their roles and if anyone was not happy they could leave and they would be replaced; I got the impression that they would be replaced before they left.
I can't believe it. I can't believe it. Football. Bloody hell.

Jose said he had three of the four priority signings he wanted but I don't necessarily think that will be the end of the signings

Pogba is a world class player and if he's the one Jose wants then fine.
But for that amount of money to spend on a player who came through our Academy is embarrassing and I would rather spend that sort of money on
players like Julian Draxler and Ross Barkley for the same price or less.

Great assist for France's second goal, but still I don't think he's worth that much money, but you know what.. ?

It's pay back time for the Glazers .
