Moussa Dembele

Tue Nov 15, 2016 1:20 pm

I've had my eye on him for a but now. Only 20 but has scored a lot in the Scottish league and in the champions league against decent opposition.
Surely it would be worth signing him even if we loan him back to celtic for a season. He's got pace, has played a decent amount of Championship and Scottish football while maintaining a healthy strike rate and has 4 goals in 4 for France u21s all at the age of 20. He's going to be snapped up by a top club in the next couple of years. I can see him and Rashford battling it out for years to come for that lone striker role.

Scottish football doesn't count. Scott Sinclair is top scorer up there.

So exact same name with the Dembele in Spurs. No idea who he is, just saw some reports on him recently that s all.

I have never heard of him, but I had to look that up because it seems 1 in 5 footballlers nowadays are named Dembele. I read the rumor on football365 today, they liked him, he had just won their Dembele of the week award. That's pretty impressive, there are a lot of good Dembeles out there.

Let's not rush to any conclusions, we need to hear from Henrik Larsson himself.

He scored 32 goals this season at Celtic at the age of 20. He scored against some very good sides in Europe as well. I could see him playing well with Rashford. We would have some serious pace up top with those two.

He certainly looks handy the times I've caught Celtic play.

Has anyone watched him in European competition? Let face it the SPL isn't one of the best leagues.

There is defiantly a part of me that says "trust in youth" and go for it. But if it doesn't work I hope I could look back and say it was worth the chance.
