Oh yeah it's heaven. I'm pretty sure they're fishing the sea dry though. It'd unbelievable how much they have there daily.
Europe, nice (Y)

I think the one endangered are bluefin tuna which cost a lot.

Very stereotypical on my part but a plain old meat and potato pie. I make my own crusts from scratch with a filling similar to a beef stew. Another favorite is a Tomatillo and Pork stew, very southwestern.

It's called a Juicy Lucy.

In this burger the cheese is sealed inside two burger patties. The result is a very juicy burger with lots of melted cheese.

To make it, just add:

Garlic powder
Salt
Black pepper
Worcestershire Sauce

To your beef mince. Make your patties and put the cheese in (American processed works best, but use what you want). Seal it well so that it doesn't spill out when you cook.

Cook over a high heat to get a nice sear on the patties.

Have with what you want but for me I think onions and beef go hand in hand so I add onions and ketchup/American mustard. Brioche buns btw.

Here is a video of it being cooked:

USA! USA!

Anyone got any good eats for winter preferably quick and easy. Currently my favourite breakfast is porridge with a tablespoon of peanut butter and a handful of raisins

It's really good. Was recommended to me by an American. If there is one thing Americans know, it's how to eat. Particularly when it comes to cheeseburgers.

Speaking of soup, homemade tomato soup is brilliant. Roast loads of tomatoes with plenty of garlic, an onion and couple of red peppers. Get them a bit charred. Blend and add a bay leaf and some butter. Eat with grilled cheese sandwich. Quality.

I'm also in love with a Polish soup called zurek. It's amazing. Though I've never made it.

Tomato soup recipe sounds amazing. Gonna do that.

Good shout on grilled cheese sandwich. I put some cayenne pepper in mine. Just a bit.

Oh sounds like a nice touch. Forgot to say you add stock after you blend it and simmer for a bit.

Anyone got a good wing recipe? I've been buying different pre made hot wings both frozen and fresh and none have really done it for me tbh
Wetherspoons used to do amazing buffalo wings about 5 years ago but changed the recipe. Best wings I've ever had. I do like dominos wings but I'm not paying their fornicate prices!!

Chop the wings obviously.

Throw the slim, bony bit away.

White flour
Black pepper
Onion powder
Garlic powder
Oregano
Salt

Either use a beaten egg or use buttermilk to dredge them in.

Dredge, coat in the seasoning, fry.

Use this sauce - https://thecookful.com/wp-content/uploa ... it-680.jpg

The one on the left is the one for wings, 'Buffalo'. The one on the right is hotter but you can make buffalo sauce with it just add melted butter to it and it's pretty much the same.

Thanks for those lads will give them a try possibly next week.
Anyone found a really good hot sauce that's easy to buy (ie on the internet but under a bazillion pounds or at summat like asda)? I found a sriracha sauce at Poundland that turned out to be decent if a little salty. I put it on virtually everything at the moment though. Chicken, chips, pizza, tuna literally everything. Started to get a real taste for really spicy things.

Encona hot pepper sauce
Cholula (more for Mexican food and isn't blazing and hot but is nice)
Tapatio (same again)
Tabasco (classic, goes with everything)
Nandos? They stock sauces now.

If you can find it I'd recommend something from here - https://www.mariesharps.bz

It's seriously top notch stuff. Difficult to find in the UK but my family go to Belize and bring stuff back and they gave me a bottle. Belizean Heat is the one I had. For any Americans on here who are near California or the west coast you'd probably find it there too.

Do you guys usually fry your wings? I usually bake as I don't have a fryer and I can't be arsed fornicate about with oil in a pan. Does it alter the taste much. I made some with soy and honey the other day. Did another batch with coriander, garlic, chilli and lime juice all whizzed up.

Side question Martin. Is there a specific reason your family go to Belize or is it just for a holiday. I was just reading about it the other day and about how Guatamala wants to take nearly half of their territory.
