Exactly. It's smoked beer. They smoke the cereals before making it. Gives it a lovely flavour.
I tried a smoked beer the other week, thought it was alright but not sure I'd fancy a full pint.

I have not tried a smoked beer. I feel it is very interesting.

Strange, I was drinking that the other day, the stuff that's around 4%?

The Foreign Extra Stout is good stuff though, and excellent for cooking with.

My three favourite drinks are Stolichnaya, Guinness and Henry Westons and I was fortunate enough to have all three whilst playing Agricola with the missus last night.

I was given some medronho made by the cleaning ladies husband, in the mountains of the Algarve, it's Portuguese moonshine. It's strong as fornicate. Must be at least 70%.

I've tried a few different medronhos, they really vary in strength and flavour depending on who makes them. A proper Portuguese tradition

Yeah, i tried a few, but this is by far the strongest. Almost undrinkable, but not quite. In an experiment I also found out that it is highly flammable!

Hendricks Gin. 1/2 ounce dry vermouth, 2 ounces Gin. You have to stir it and served with olives.

My wife got me an early Christmas present; Takisker's Dark Storm single malt. This is rapidly becoming my favorite scotch.

Has anyone tried Crown Royal Northern Harvest? Jim Murray named it the best whiskey in 2016. That's a very average brand in Canada, although the Northern Harvest is a new product, and since it was named it's unattainable. It shows up in liquor stores and is gone in minutes, people are buying it in cases.

Freaking hipsters gotta ruin everything. They probably don't even appreciate it, it's just the current fad.

I've massively gone off drinking lager. I can't drink more than a couple before I don't want to taste it anymore. I've started drinking rum, whisky or certain types of gin. I must be getting old.
Also I went out on a date and we ended up getting a cocktail which was horrific. It was in a bit sharing pitcher thing with two straws and it was the most disgusting thing I've ever tasted.

Smirnoff red vodka
Malibu coconut rum
Archers peach schnapps
Grenadine
Blue curacao
Pineapple juice

Honestly one of the worst things I've ever tasted. I didn't see what it was I gave her some money for a cocktail and went to the toilet and she got something random from the menu. It made me feel sick. I don't know how they serve shit like that anywhere. She didn't like it either. Waste of 20 quid.
