Best one is Razor, think it's season 4.Maverick McKillshark wrote:Sam and I are on the second series of an Australian gangland series called Underbelly. The show details true events of organised crime in Australia, with each series focusing on a different tale, in a different era with an entirely different set of characters.
The first series told the story of the Melbourne gangland wars 1995-2004, whilst the second, which we've only just begun, details the rise of the heroin trade in the late 1970's.
It's a top quality show which does everything just right for my tastes; violence, realism, humour, great characters being well acted — it's brilliant.
I'm still unsure about this show, because it seems like half the characters are in this gritty cop drama and the other half in a campy comic book.Matt wrote:Gotham just started, seems to be good, not seen anything yet. Will start it soon.
I hate to break it to you but nothing will fill the Breaking Bad void.Mushy peas wrote:There used to be one but I can't find it.
I want recommendations, I have just finished Breaking Bad and feel a bit empty inside. I am also on season 3 of Boardwalk Empire which I'm enjoying.
What's everyone else watching? Any recommendations?
Utopia in the US started about a month ago and I am loving it, but apparently I am alone because it is already cut down to once a week from two times and all the rumors say it probably won't last much longer.Maverick McKillshark wrote:I just read that C4's Utopia has been cancelled after two seasons. Gutted as that was a brilliant show.
i watched a season and a half of it. It's very entertaining. The overly cheesy bits are hard to take sometimes though.Leftbank wrote:The Newsroom is superb.
That's basically it.Mushy peas wrote:@martin thanks pal I'll check it out. What do you watch then? Documentaries?
I got halfway through S02 before giving up completely due to it being absolute horseshit.Mushy peas wrote:@martin thanks pal I'll check it out. What do you watch then? Documentaries?
Just remembered I have season 2 of homeland to watch as well. Some birth canal has already ruined the ending for me but I shall watch it anyway. First one was really good
I do both mate. Most of Louis Theroux's stuff is easy to find on the internet to stream. Some is on Youtube. Downloading is easy as well.Mushy peas wrote:Id like to watch more Louis Theroux. Do you stream or download? I always want to watch more documentaries but never feel there's enough time
