Laurel

Would you rather die when you're 70, without having to go through many physical/mental health issues (up untill the moment you die of course, dead people aren't very healthy)
OR

reach the 100 under these circumstances: - you're in a wheelchair from 85 till the end. - you will get very forgetfull in the last 5 years and won't recognize your family and friends anymore

and why?

70.

Although personally, the second my mind goes I'd like my body to follow straight after. I've seen dementia and what it can do to families, not worth the suffering for all.

I think tom meant a question rather than a favour but hey ho.

I've not been to that many places. New Zealand and a few places in Spain. New Zealand was amazing but wasn't really a holiday. I've always said I want to go back. Spain was a few single week piss ups with mates. Couldn't really say they were good destinations.

I've always wanted to go to New York as a tourist. I know quite a few people who've done Vegas and have said it's a bit of a let down

Vegas is never a letdown. If it is, then you ain't doing it right! ;)

New York is so crowded that I hate it. But it does have some good hotspots like the Empire State Building, Madison Square Garden etc. I've been there way too many times to recall these last few years or so.

depends on what you find interesting though. i've been to new york so many times i still get goosebumps as my bus approaches manhattan from new jersey. the whole city just fascinates me. sometimes i would just walk around with no plans. i would book a bus to get to new york at 6 am, spend the entire day walking around, eating cheap street food, drinking, etc and catch the return bus at 8 pm. they even have a good united fan base, there's a bar that united fans hang out at. so if there's a 12:30 pm game, that would make it a perfect trip on a saturday

I too have heard vegas is a letdown  so maybe you really did well with the gambling that you enjoyed it!

Vegas is amazing, I've been a few times, as recently as April. You can basically do anything you want in Vegas for money, shoot machine guns, race Ferraris, etc. There are some many amazing places to eat and a lot of great shows. Grand canyon is close. I would highly recommend it, but warn it is expensive.

My first trip to New York was as a 17 yr old kid in the late 60's, The Village and Harlem where like a tale come true for me. I don't travel east of the Rockies very often but whenever my wife and I travel to Europe we try and schedule a few day coming and going in NY and/or Philly.

I worked in Henderson NV during the late 70's/ early 80's and when the MOD ran Vegas was a great place to part. However since corporate America took over running the place it has become just a very large shopping mall.

You mean the same way you did just now? ;) (Hey, now that's a question).

If you were to start your own brewery, what kind would it be?

I wouldn't start a brewery but I'd like to have a pub called The Flipping Coin.

Customers could buy pints just like usual, but should they choose to take the option they could take a gamble on the flip of a coin. Win the coin toss and their drink is free, lose however and they pay double. Upon accepting the gamble they'd have to put the money up front as security to stop them doing a runner upon the loss of the coin toss.

Another idea I have for a pub would be to allow people to take their own booze in but charge an entrance fee.

What ideas do you have which would make a pub stand out from the crowd?
