Where to watch games in London

Sun Jan 31, 2016 3:43 pm

Going to be staying in The O2 hotel Tuesday morning till Thursday morning. Anyone know a good place I can watch the game on Tuesday around that area?

I don't mate, sorry, but I might be able to get 2 tickets if you're in a position to catch a train up to Manchester?

I remember being in London once when United played Chelsea at the Bridge. Tried to get in, couldn't, so ended up being the only United fan (with a shirt on) in a pub full of Chelsea fans right by the ground. What a bunch of fornicate pansies they were.

Anyway, I'd suggest you take the Tube to Stratford (on the Jubilee line) and watch the game at Café Football. The missus can do some shopping at the Westfield Shopping Centre or take the kids to one of the play areas, Disney Store, Build a Bear workshop or something. Or have a mooch around the Olympic Park. Possibly even go swimming at the pool.

Can't mate, wish I could, but will be there on business and not pleasure and will be getting up early in the morning.

No worries :)

I imagine most places will have it on if it's on telly, after all, that's where most of our supporters some from.

I'll just walk around and see what I find. Or ask at the hotel.

The hotel might even have it on, have you asked them?

Or, ask them to recommend somewhere close by. That's what I do when I'm travelling and want to watch United. I watched the derby when Rooney scored the overhead kick in Athens in a bar under the Parthenon on my hotels recommendation.

The game tonight is not on TV.

Tuesday 2 February: West Ham United v Aston Villa - 7.45pm (BT Sport 1)

Wednesday 3 February: Watford v Chelsea - 7.45pm (BT Sport 1)

Surprising, not even Leicester vs Liverpool is on TV..

You can watch all of the highlight's on BBC 1 Match of the Day (10:45 PM)

Enjoy your stay.

I imagine there will be someone showing it on beIN Sports or something, but they can be hard to track down.

If you have a laptop with you, you might be best off using that.
