A broken plane
A broken team
A broken heart
A broken dream
No word said
A silent vow
We loved you then
We love you now

RIP the babes (f)

Unfortunately, I was clearing out a storage unit today, or I'd have been down at Old Trafford.

It's a few years old now, but this is always a touching video.

Thanks for the photos Ray.
I was at the ground for the memorial service today and it was nice to be there. There was a nice mix of young and old fans there as well.
Paddy Crerand was just behind me,were you with him.

I still get a lump in my throat whenever the lads' names are read out. (f) (l)

would love to have been there (always there when it falls on a weekend) but work required me to be elsewhere :(

I trust the tributes were as heartfelt as usual. RIP the babes - forever in our hearts (f)

The tributes were indeed heartfelt. There were poems, songs and prayers and the impeccable minutes silence.
I was pleased also that a prayer was said for the victims of the Brazilian team Chapecoense who lost 19 players in the Colombian air disaster. (f) (l)

Always a stirring and emotional day
I did indeed go with Paddy but i prefer to be by myself for a few minutes
You should have spoken to Paddy and introduced yourself. He would have shown you where i was

As noticeable as which of the current hierarchy felt a need to attend
I still remember a few years ago when the club tried to charge the fans for a cup of tea,as it was so cold. There was nearly a lynching

A wonderful service probably the best yet.It was great to see all the players at the club there to show their respects and you could see that the foreign players were genuinely moved by the occasion.

The club did us proud,,,,unforgettable tribute.
RIP you red shirted heroes. (f) (l)
