Though I wouldn't call his performances average overall this season his productivity stats, assists and goals are still average. Granted he did spend half the season at wingback and has a solid defensive side.

It's Carrick, you know, hard to believe its not Scholes

Pointless.

well there was never going to be any evidence of such a conversation was there

I presume that when you are socialising with your friends if somebody has seen somebody or something or your friend overheard something i presume you don't ask for either a tape recording or a selfie

For somebody that pays no attention to heresay mate you are quick to post almost daily on several newspapers reporting that Ronaldo is coming(for the fourth year running!!) or some Uzbeckistani newspaper has a "source close to it" that heard some obscure African player has already done a deal to join United
Most of this drivel comes,as has been commented on,from the back of a bottle of HP sauce

I would say that considering the number of worldwide online newspapers coupled with the social media two bob sites that you frequent and then inform this forum on the term "mate's mate" is a lot closer to the truth than "sources close to the Nigeria Daily Herald have confirmed"

Just thinking eh pal

That correct analogy makes him what he actually is.
An average utility player who deteriorated under SAF and Moyes and has now been revigorated to play at the top of his form.Actually even a bit better
That still leaves him a long way short of what is demanded from a top team with genuine overtures for the top prizes

The acid test is "would he be wanted by a team we claim to wish to emulate" such as Chelsea,The Berties or even Arsenal in England.
Or Barca,Madrid or Munich overseas
I suspect nobody will have to think too long to answer that question.
He won't even get into an average England team

Young is to be praised for rediscovering his form and his enthusiasm.
I suspect it is as much down to LVG playing a system that works for him
I would make the same comment on Fellaini
But neither would really stir any interest up at any top club

I hate that reasoning.

Are we looking to be like every other top club? fornicate that, if you want to emulate Chelsea, PSG, Barcelona or Real Madrid then I really don't share that ideal.

I've always liked the personality of the club, personally. And we've kept it a long time.

Vitriolic hearsay, not hearsay in general. Yes, if one of my friends started spreading shady, unsubstantiated rumours then I'd tell them to shut up and grow up.

It's the spiteful, hate-fuelled, hell-bent bile the likes of you spits out that I pay no attention to. The transfer rumour-mill certainly does not fall under that umbrella.

presumably you don't have too many friends then

Is it not the way you have dealt with the transfer rumour mill in your own inimitable style that has had you shot down on other forums?

Rather, my friends aren't birth canal.

The answer to your question is no. I don't blame you for being entirely wrong though, since how would you have any clue whatsoever about just what I may or may not have written on any other forums?

Lounge War 3-Revenge of Roddy
The panned sequel to the Lounge Wars franchise, which includes:

Lounge Wars 4: A New Post (where Bram broke his silence)
Lounge Wars 5: The Agendas Strike Back (Southampton responds to the stealing of their plans for the ultimate left back, the Death Shaw)
Lounge Wars 6: Return of the jcl1999 (who surprisingly turns out to be the saviour of the forum and fulfilling the prophecy of Condor-jin)
Lounge Wars 1: The Phantom McKillshark (does the appearance of Darth Maverick mark the reemergence of the Lords of the RedCafe?)
Lounge Wars 2: Attack of the Credits

But we're all looking forward to Lounge Wars 7: The Forum Awakens
