And to think this player was a villain not too long ago and since his played his part in Pogba's absence we've scored how many goals?

He has become a big part of our squad, credit where credit's due.

Key word is squad. Fellaini is a squad player, nothing more. Hes no longer the 30 million star signing. Hes not utilised in an important way that Moyes and Van Gaal did that epitomised mediocrity.

Jose has been brilliant with his man management and ability to get the best out of him

Credit to both of them for turning it around

I'll add that after the first few games of last season, it took a fair while for Fellaini to to look like he fit in again.

I've kept quite quiet recently about fellaini but the fact is he has been putting in consistently good performances for around a year now. I ask anyone who says he hasn't, to have a look at his stats. He consistently wins us the ball be it a tackle or an interception. Generally when he plays a full game he wins the ball more than anyone else. His passing stats are also a bit skewed as people quote what they have seen but they tend to include headers which are generally a lottery as he frequently wins headers under pressure.

When we first picked up Fellaini I believe he was not United material and the way that Moyes and Van Gaal utilized him only strengthened that belief. I was surprised that he was not sold down the road the minute that Mourinho was hired, instead Mourinho made a role for him and depended on Fellaini to perform that role. No questioning that Mourinho's handling of Fellaini has been masterful but Fellaini also deserves a great deal of credit; he plays within his abilities, he has lost the rashness he used to play with and does what the team needs.

Very true but I cannot imagine this being said if Van Gaal was still the manager.

According to some reports Fellaini has rejected a new and improved contract offer. Shockingly he's making 120K a week, so the new and improved contract must be worth more.

I hope it's true and we finally see the end of him.

Not really.....his style of play suits Mourino's style of football so he's seen as an asset.
The bigger question is how content will we be winning trophies with the team playing Mourinho's style of football instead of Man United's style of football.
And even more worrying based on the large numbers of transient fans that follow the EPL now a days, how long will it be until Mourino's style is accepted as being the same as United's.

I can't quite get my hands on this. From my experience, New Balance is not that big of a football shoe brand, am I wrong?
