I think the loss of Pogba might affect us more than we think so it will be interesting to see how we go.
A lot of responsibility rest on Miki's shoulders while Pogba is out.

Everton are going through a bad spell but we mustn't underestimate them or we could pay for it.
Even I don't want to see Wayne score the winner. :)

it's a perfect time to play them. they had to play an away game on thursday which they lost so their confidence and freshness is an issue for them

I wonder how the crowd will response if he kiss the badge after scoring?

He won't!

Celebrating ist ok though. Shouldn't be denounced for being happy after scoring for his current club imo.

Can't embrace that false pc behaviour after scoring against a former club. RVP got it right by all means back then at the Emirates.

Fellaini has his uses .... I think we've all seen that,, but
you start with Fellaini and you're effectively surrendering control of the midfield

He won us the ball 8 times today. I think that part of controlling the midfield is having the ball tbh

He misplaced 3 passes from over 50 and he also won 5 headers. He did no wrong today and did a lot right. He didn't get into the game but was a big factor why we dominated possession for most of the game. Statistically he was one of our best and I see it myself and have done for a bit now but he still gets pillocks (not as many now as people are actually realising his worth) calling him for not being the type of player they want. It's beyond boring now

Good game and even better result. 4:0 may not be an accurate reflection of what went on on the pitch, but who cares. We won, got 3 points and have a clean sheet.
Valencia's goal was an absolute stunner. I don't think he'll ever score a better goal.

Rooney had his chances but thankfully he missed. It was weird seeing him playing against us, but that's life. Things change.

As far as Fellaini is concerned, I'd rather see someone else on the team instead of him, but when we win 4:0 and he kinda did OK I'm not going to complain about it. Still I find the "love affair" between him and Jose extremely disturbing.

I am not a Fellaini fan, but I don't think you can knock him too much on this performance. He also seems to have cleaned up his act somewhat.

I great result in the end but I stuttering performance. We started brilliantly and should have put Everton to the sword early but they hung around and was relieved once that 2nd goal went in - saying that Everton bar Rooney's chance didn't create to much of concern.

Valencia - what a connection - BOOM
I did feel we missed Pogba's playmaking ability
Matic - controls everything
Lukuku - quiet enough through the game but still picks up a goal and an assist.

We can only beat who is in front of us but that's another game we dropped points last year won - onwards and upwards

Boring or not ... your level of excitement is not proportional to truth. Fellaini is most useful at both ends of the pitch. He's a player that will give you his 100% but he's not a player that will be extremely clever with the ball, find pockets of space, find your runners, and effectively control the midfield.

I wasn't knocking him at all - I said he has his uses, but my actual point is you do not expect a fluid controlled game when you play him. It's simply not his kind of game. Not sure how that's too difficult to understand. I never said he had a bad game, the type of players you have on pitch (and the tactics of course) will determine the type of game you'll get.
It's like saying you'll typically have a slower build-up with Zlatan up front than Lukaku. It's true - you surrender quick counter attacks in such games, in favour of something else

happy that micki got his first goal, hopefully many more to come..

I'm happy we got the points and cleansheet.. another 4-0 victory.

Matic & Valencia - MOTM. Young had a good game too (is Blind injured? he wasn't on the bench?)

I think we'll see a lot more of Young this season - especially against teams that will set up to defend - he can get get up and down the pitch well and can cross a dangerous ball.

If he gets his defensive brain working - he could be an asset down that left side. He did get caught a few times v Everton - problem when teams play with the RWB.
