Pre/Post Match Discussion: Premier League vs. Swansea (A)

Fri Aug 18, 2017 9:03 pm

Same team for me.

De Gea
Valencia Bailley Jones Blind
Matic
Pogba Mata
Miki Lukaku Rashford

Slight possibility of Herrera starting over Mata or Darmian over Blind. Both players were decent against West Ham. Other than that surely no changes as everyone else was easily a 7.5 out of 10 at the very least

Surely Herera will get a chance to play.

Martial on the left for me. I suspect we'll see Herrera and Pogba with Matic as a base in midfield, as it's an away game

Even with last week decisive win I am expecting Mourinho to start with a three man midfield with Herrera, Matic and Pogba.

A big attacking threat is remove with SIgursson gone. Great news for United.

I'm hoping the boss swaps it up.
We have a great squad and the only way to keep them all in tune is to give them playing opportunities.

It takes guts, but worth it IMO.

Similarly however, we need to establish a starting XI and get that team gelled. There's no point switching around for the sake of it. Once we are in all the competitions, players will get their chance

Beer going down well in Wales btw. A couple of pubs open early doors full of reds in good voice.

Chances at both ends, with Bailly hitting it off of an attacker who was in on goal but did not know whether to cross or strike, then Lukaku on the counter with a strike.

I guess that goal goes to Bailly and the assist to either Pogba or the crossbar.
