The players look hungry to get themselves on the scoresheet even when the game is won and that's a great sign,.

Infinitely better than the last few years where we would have tried to sit on a one goal lead.

2 games, 8 goals, 2 clean sheets, 4 different scorers, top of the league, couldn't really ask for more!

Swansea 0 - 4 United

Swansea played much better than the score indicate, but an absolutely devastating 5 minute put them to the sword.

Wow so many good things!

Bailly 1st goal for United, excellent they way he reacted to force the ball over the line.1-0

Lukaku 1 chance 1 goal. 2-0

Pogba and the link up with Mkhitaryan for an excellently taken goal. 3-0

Then Martial with another ice cold finish for 4-0.

Lukaku didn't have a lot of touches but played an instrumental part in the build up to goals 2 and 4.

I have to pinch myself because Swansea played well and while it was 1-0 were really giving us a game. But in the end the class and the power told.

Another solid performance by the team! I'm pinching myself because I can't believe how well we are playing. Total domination once again & good finishing from Baily Lukaku Pogba Martial. We probably weren't as ruthless as we were against the hammers but one thing this team has going for them is work ethic. I've picked up how well we are winning the ball back, getting the tackles in! Both tactics we've lacked hugely over the past few years. I don't want to get overexcited just yet but hey I just can't help myself!!! Looks like the good old days are coming back & I always had faith in Jose who's a natural born winner!!!
Always look on the bright side of life la la, la la la la la la!!!

Another great perform and result, admittedly against a team that will not threaten many of the good team in the league - but holy shit that was fun to watch.

Is anyone else having a difficult time picking a man of the match? DeGea is about the only player I have ruled out and that's because he literally had nothing to do. The pairing of Bailly and Jones looked so comfortable and confident, like they had been playing together since birth. If Jones can stay health this could develop into quite a pair. The back pairing of Blind and Valencia did just about all that you could ask from them, they kept Swansea's wingers in check, allowing Mata and Rashford extra room down the sidelines. Against Swansea's 5 man midfield Matic and Pogba did all that could be asked of them and once Swansea went to a 4 man back line they really took over the game. Pogba picking up a needless yellow in the first have really had an effect on his usually aggressive playmaking but he made it work by bringing MickyT and Mata more into the game. Rashford is a holy terror for defenses with his speed and guile, I hope he can find his shooting boots soon or he may end up as another Welbeck and he is too good for that. What can you say about Lukaku? If my memory is correct he only had one shot and he scored from that.

I thought Jermaine was correct on MOTD in pointing out that we did not effectively use our FBs to bomb forward and stretch Swansea leaving us to battle it out in the congested middle.

Whether that is Jose's instructions or the player's decisions it could prove a problem against better opposition.

Another great win and solid performance - getting the first goal before the break was massive. Swansea did well but felt we were comfortable for the most part - killing it off in the fashion that we did was great to watch.

We are going to have a lot of games like that - trying to break teams down - always important to come out of the blocks flying and don't let the opposition settle.

When rashford gets his shooting boots on he's gonna be lethal

I think that was the plan as Jose said after the game, but with Blind's pace, he's not really going to be stretching anyone

Can I just point out the complete disrespect some journalists are giving to Swansea. They were really up for it and early in the game were really rattling us. We will really have to start a lot brighter against the top teams because we only really got into our stride once we were on top. We didn't really have anyone pulling the strings in the first half and we were lucky not to be down to 10 men.
That said, the last 3 goals were incredible and to score in such a quick flash was outstanding. I called 4-0 when we went 1 up. Once the second went in I knew we would push for more. We just overwhelmed them.
That said had we not have scored the first it would have been a different ball game completely

agreed. Swansea had a lot of success with park the bus tactics. it will show other teams how to play against us
