Jose said he can't play the same line up every match. Interesting to see when will he shuffle the team.

Martial scored 2 goals from 2 shots in 33 minutes of play. Hard to ignore that.

 different opposition. I would not be surprised to see Lingard in for Mata.

Similar line up please.
Only changes I would make would be Martial in for Mata and then maybe giving Darmian or Smalling some minutes.

I don't think we should bring smalling if jones and bailey are doing well as it is.

Same team, maybe martial for rashford.

I would not change the defense one bit, two game and two clean sheets - leave the line-up as is. I don'r think that anyone has had a bad game so far, the only change I can see is maybe Mata dropped for either Martial or Lingaed.

Hear this on a podcast and have not verified it; we have already scored 15% of all the goals we scored last season. That should put us at about 150 goals for the season.

This cracks me up - Paul Merson's prediction for the game this weekend.

I'm not on the Manchester United bandwagon at the moment. They didn't look like scoring against West Ham for 25 minutes, and they were far from convincing against Swansea until their late flurry of goals. Leicester, meanwhile, have started the season well. They will be dangerous against a United side that are obliged to attack at Old Trafford. I see them putting up a real fight, but United should overpower Leicester in the end

I thought a game of football was 90mins?

........then he finishes - United should overpower them in the end? Merse you just contradicted your opening point

Difficult to justify making changes to a team coming off back to back 4 - nil wins but Martial has made a case for hisself. I think Martial is scoring about every 11 minutes so he should get at least 7 goals today - right?

I thought Rashford was really poor against Swansea tbh

He did miss his chances and really needs to find his shooting boot. On the other hand Martial has two goals from two shots.

Good second half. Thought Rashford was really good when he came on. Fellaini looked sharp too. We dominated a game we probably would have drawn last season.

Interesting substitution with Jose saying, if I recall the interview correctly, that it was to provide width and directness.

Toni seems to have gone back to putting his crosses in to hit the first man in the defence again.

I remain concerned about our lack of wingers who can put in an accurate ball and don't tend to cut inside.

Great points though, so I am being a worry-wart.

Nice that we kept the momentum going.

But please get another penalty taker - I told my wife before Lukaku took it, that he will miss, and he duly obliged.

Finally got to watch a game, sitting on an outdoor patio in Bol, Croatia. Probably not quite as good as the first couple, but I liked what I saw. Looking more like the United of old. It's going to be a good season.

Penalty aside, Lukaku had a horrible day. But it's allowed. He should continue with the penalties until he stops fighting. He still is. Maybe Mikhi can take them or Pogba.
We controlled the game for extensive periods and I have to say that we saw shadows of last season's profligacy or perhaps bad luck but thanks to Rashford's finish we didn't have to make that link.

Pleasing performance and momentum lives on.....
