Great Poll..hehe

I hope for a clean International Break and would then play the same side as LC - but replace Mata with Herrera

Stoke away is always one of those fixtures I dread - we have always seemed to struggle there.

Hopefully all the players come back fully fit from International duty - important to keep this run going.

Stoke have some dangerous players so we cant take them lightly.

Thank goodness the international games are over and we can get back to real games. An early meaningful game for us and I don't think Mourinho will not be experimenting too much with the lineup. This is not a Tony Pulis Stoke team, they have been playing a 3-4-3 formation and are trying to entertain their supporters.
DeGea
Valencia. Bailly Jones. Blind
Matic. Pogba
Lingard. Mata. Martial
Lukaku
I would not be too surprised to see us lineup in a 4-3-3 with Herrera in for Mata, keeping either Martial or Rashford to come on and run at a tired Stoke defense.

Stoke 0 - 3 United.

Umm,
I don't understand why you would drop micki who's got 5 assists for Lingard, probably our least creative winger.

Same team , don't mind either martial or rashford on the left

I get the feeling that Mourinho will want a little move defense against their wing backs. My opinion and a dime will get you a phone call. :)

Have a couple of spare tickets if anyone wants to take them and just give me a few beers there. I doubt anyone will take them but anyone off here takes priority before Saturday 6 am

I'd definitely go for Miki instead of Lingard at the right. I'd also keep Martial on the left and either Rashford or Ander in place of Mata.

If everyone comes back fit from the internationals I would stick with the same line-up.....either Rashford or Martial. Martial possibly as he had a break last week.

Stoke are always one of those pain in the ass teams - we've struggled against them at the Britannia or Bet 365 over the years.

Saying that they have only scored 2 goals so far this season - League
1-0 loss to Everton
1-0 Win to Arsenal
1-1 draw v WBA

On paper we should be too strong for them but they are a tricky side and must be at our best to get the 3 points

playing Stoke away is never easy to begin with and playing them afer international games / CL games is even worse. They dont haev internationals so their players are well rested and well prepared for us. we have players coming from 2 games and long flights.

i expect Valencia to be rested

we have more than enough quality to cope with not being fresh...

Stoke and Leeds were the two away games I never liked going to back in the day, their fans were cavemen and probably still are.
It's always difficult after Internationals but we're a strong team now and I think we should win but it will be a battle.

Stoke fans are some of the types of fans i hate. They have no proper rivals so all would say they hate United the most because we are the team who won everything when they watched football. Their attendance apart from in the Premiership was shit they had 10k plus empty seats up until the Premiership and their ground only holds about 27k. Their fans sing Munich. They make a bit of noise here and there. They get up for the big matches but don't turn up week in week out.

I would not be one bit surprised to see Fellaini in the lineup in place of MickyT, Herrera is also a possible starter in a three man midfield. I think that Mourinho will want to control the middle of the pitch and disrupt Stoke from breaking.

So Stoke away - one of the games where we would most likely need a big strong unit on the pitch, and Fellaini isn't even on the bench!

2-2 and it feels like a loss. Herrera did not really do much and the midfield looked off key with him in there.

Not so good defending from Jones for the equalizer.

Good to see that we fought till the end though, with a bit of luck we could have snatched the winner.

A few players were average to be honest defensively but Stoke had a gameplan and it worked.
I hope Gareth Southgate was watching cause Butland looked a better and more assured bet than Hart has been all season.

Still 10 points from 4 games is a great start, we need to now focus on Basel.

We could have won that game, but draw was probably a fair result.

The goals we conceded were very poor defending. Jones and Bailey?? Simple mistakes, lack of concentration.

I'm not sure why Jose doesn't play rashford and martial at the same time. Why does it have to be one or the other? If we have one right, and the other left, we can cause problems in the last 20 minutes.

Micki another assist, lukaku another goal.. I'm liking this,

Regarding fellaini, he is probably injured if he wasn't in the bench aswell.
