Wasn't their a thing when it was at the millennium stadium? Didn't every team that was in the home dressing room win? Or am I talking shite

It used to be at the old Wembley that about 80% of teams won in the away (I.e. the non-England) dressing room (IIRC)

Mou had his starting few for the semi

Sanchez, Lukaku, Matic, Bailley, Tony, Young and DDG

Lingard, Pogba, Smalling could be added to the mix I think

Rashford, Herrera and Fellaini might be the toss up. Would hate for Fellaini to just come in over Herrera .

Given how we set up - Herrera seems to be the best bet. But then again, we could go defensive and stick Fellaini in there..FFS!

Barring injuries, I assume the line up will surely be:

DDG
Tony Bailly Smalling Young
Herrera Matic
?? Pogba Sanchez
Lukaku

Only real query for me is whether ?? will be Rashford, Martial, Lingard or Mata

It will be Mata.

Personally I'd shift Sanchez to the right and out Rashford on the left. That said both Sanchez and Rashford are capable of playing both flanks.
As good as interchange is we need actual wingers who will play wide. That was our problem against WBA we had no real shape at all. Sanchez was all over the place. That's good in a way but at times you need to be disciplined and move the ball rather than yourself.

I was really pleased when we picked up Sanchez because I thought he would raise the overall talent level on the squad; what I did not realize was that he was going t be given the left forward position exclusively and to the detriment of Martial and Rashford. I do not question n the talent that Sanchez brings to the team, what I do question is where and how he is being played. As a left forward he wants to cut inside onto his right foot, this is the same area that Pogba want to occupy, add to this that Young also want to come inside we end up with three players bumping into and stumbling over each other. While Martial and Rashford can cut inside they will also take on defender out wide which opens up space for Pogba and to some degree Young.

When Sanchez played for Barcelona he was good in the right forward position and that’s the position I think he should be playing.

Much better second half. Through to the final, happy with that.

Now to make sure we win it.

Better approach to this game instead of parking the bus. A good win for us. Pogba in attacking mode is better for us.

Yep, Pogba attacking is better

Kudos to he form of Herrera as well. Not only with his contribution but that with him gaining his place in the side allows Pogba to be more free

Every time we move the ball through the midfield quickly instead of moving it from side to side to get ourselves setup correctly we are a better team. I don't really care how the ball get forward, running it or a long pass or even hoofing it up to Lukaku or Fellaini, when we move the ball forward quickly we are a better team.
