Casey Stoney set to be appointed manger of Manchester United Women's team.

Seems like it will be made official if United get the Tier 2 license they have applied for. Would be quite a coup for United, could possibly help us land players that might otherwise not look at the club, and hopefully we'll keep hold of the talent we have brought through the youth sides.

United's application for a WSL2 license was approved, and Casey Stoney has officially taken charge of the club.

United's former training ground The Cliff will be used as a base for the team and they will face Aston Villa Ladies, Doncaster Rovers Belles, Durham Women, London Bees, Millwall Lionesses, Sheffield FC Ladies, Tottenham Hotspur Ladies, Charlton Athletic Women, Leicester City Women, Lewes Women and Sheffield United Ladies in WSL2 next season.
