Harry Maguire

Fri Jul 27, 2018 12:01 pm

Rumours we’ve put a bid in. Would be a great signing if we can send someone else Leicester’s way.

Yeah so Man Utd came in for me, Leicester are playing hardball, but I'm kind of a big deal so they're gonna keep chasing me. Know what I mean love?

A mourinho type central defender. I imagine he will do very well in our ranks assuming the deal can be pulled off.

He is a good central defender, and with the right handling and coaching could be a great one, he plays for a premier league rival, he is English and is coming off a really good WC performance. Because we are clueless in the transfer market If we can get him he will now cost a small fortune.

This pains me to say this, but I agree with you. I said before he went to Tottenham we should be in for him, at the 11 mil or whatever it was, I don't understand why we weren't.

I was desperate for him when he left. He's the best cb in the league right now and fits the mould of CB and player we need so badly

The club has made a habit of letting these guys go to the lower tier sides and then spunking 100 million on them later on. Could've had them when they were young. We are no longer the side we were under Fergie

And then the expectations are so high and the pressure so high on the player because of the cost that often times said player doesn't live up to the expectations. It's a great business model we have built. For such cheap owners they sure spend their money poorly.

Not so long ago Chairman Ed was speaking about the business model no longer requiring success on the pitch to rake in profits. And I believe he said this was long term. Are we seeing this model affect our mood in the market?

Wages and Transfers

This is a result of years of underspending finally catching up with them

Now we have shite players on huge wages we cant offload because no one wants to pay them
