Well it's tricky isn't it? Perhaps it's down to the guy who kept screaming he needed improvements even to the point of being called negative. I heard the board told him that his targets were not an improvement on what we already have.
So you think throwing more money at the squad is the solution ? It hasn't been the solution since Ferguson left, what makes you think it will be any different now.
Why? I think he was brutally honest. I hope he doesn't say that again but this I think is owning up to a fornicate up performance.
Doesn't paint a real pic. Nominal comparison. Silva, Kompany, Aguero, maybe Sterling were brought in when the market was still relatively sane. Not this "outsane" environment.
no, that's my point. We've spent enough money, but we are far away from citeh.Sigmar wrote: ↑Tue Aug 21, 2018 12:29 amSo you think throwing more money at the squad is the solution ? It hasn't been the solution since Ferguson left, what makes you think it will be any different now.
Perhaps we should be sending players lie Martial and Bailly to name just two out on loan, and play the home grown players who just might have a bit of passion for the club, it couldn't be a lot worse.......could it ?
Too many if's there !Colin Francis wrote: ↑Tue Aug 21, 2018 10:11 amThere are some positives that will see us play better this year. Shaw's performances are slightly better and I think the more he plays the better he'll get if we can get him to focus more. The addition of Fred is already paying dividends and a full strength side with Matic and Sanchez will see us playing better. The WC boys need to get up to speed quickly . I'm impressed with Perreira but I think he should replace Mata on the right going forward.
I think Lindelof is fine but as for Bailly, I said it from the start, should not be in a Utd shirt. Young also not my cup of tea and should rather alternate with Mata or Perreira on the right side of midfield. Smalling should be picked ahead of Bailly at centre half albeit that Smalling is the lesser of the two evils imo.
Lukaku still remains shite as ever even if he scores the odd goal here and there. We can't depend on him to give us the edge in tight games. Pogba is the conundrum.
