A game we have to win really to get our season started. It's the international break after this correct? If we go into that on a high, I think we can kick on from there.

It’s hard to comprehend tha Burnley, even at Turf Moor, can be considered a tough game.

They have one of the best home records in the last few years, and they finished 7th last year. It won't be an easy game at all.

For us, every game is tough anyways!

The point I was trying to make was; that in years pasted when, Burnley where in the premier league, they were almost an automatic 6 points a season for us. Dyche had them playing good football last season but realistically they should not present any problems whatsoever for United.

Much much much better. Almost as if Mourinho did something right with Luke Shaw

I don't know how much credit to give or take away from Manutd or Burnley. I suppose in this case I will balance it. First off, Burnley looked like a ghost of their usual selves. I don't know why they did not look to harry us more frequently and generally increase their tempo when in possession. Lots of teams have used that to some success against us, especially with our unsure backline.

Now this performance was certainly something to notice in terms of clean sheet and goals scored and chances created AWAY FROM HOME. We could have scored 5 on any other day but Lukaku/luck and inspired keeping has kept the score respectable for Burnley.
We were down a man with about 20 mins to go and I couldn't even tell. We still had 3 chances or so to trouble Joe Hart.

Good performance all round in different periods. Alexis was good in the first half using the ball judiciously and made one goal from a sugar-coated Lukaku-seeking cross. Special mention to Fellaini, the one who cannot be underestimated for his holding role play. Matic was good too but was guilty of some careless play. Lukaku got 2, Pogba had an ok game and Smalling was a reassuring presence at the back.
Too bad Rashford got a red. I hope he doesn't lose his composure again but I can understand his reaction too well. Too bad the ref reacted extremely. Well done and can't wait for 2 weeks to go by. Cheers
