First of All It's the restoration of natural order, I was a sceptic of Jose, not because I thought he was a bad manager. But because he was a negative manager

I said this last year even when we were second that Jose isn't really Man Utd material. His tactics were way too negative and it showed against Cardiff. The players were huffing and puffing by the 70th minute.

I was never a fan of Jose even though some fans said he might win us the league. I think I have been spoiled in the Fergie Era.

Style has to be one of the criteria when we choose managers. And Ole to the rescue it was a bliss of pass and play the United way.

What concerns me is player fitness for the this match. Give Pep Cardiff or Wolves and see where he finishes.

Ole knows he got a talented bunch. He is a player and a true legend to our beloved club.

I expect us to have a lot of possession at Old Trafford.

DDG
Young. Jones. Lindelof shaw

Matic. Herrera. Pogba

Mata. Rashford. Martial

Prediction: Home win. 4-0

I just have a feeling that we are going to see a lot more rotation with Ole than we have been used to.

i fully expect the bounceback to continue
With the lamp post still out there is guaranteed to be the pace up front that a team like Huddersfield should not be able to hold
Huddersfield are also very poor up front so even an average defence such as ours should have little trouble

I fully expect Huddersfield to try to park the bus but our midfield with Pogba,Matic and Herrara/Mata should be more than capable of opening a packed defence
I can see possibly another 5 goal score if we can open them up early enough
I think Betfred's offer of 7/4 to win both halves is a very good bet

Not a ticket can be found anywhere for today.
Even the Bobby Charlton hospitality packages at £700 have sold out so all is well with Glazernomics

Out of curiosity has anybody discovered what our long term plans for manager, transfers, targets are?
Or is it a Donald Trump "wait and see,Ole is a very good man,a truly remarkable man" etc etc etc

Just one more of the reasons I sit in an armchair during games rather than roaming the side lines.

They could install an armchair for you.

An armchair in the technical area might work but I think there would be an issue with a cooler full of beer. :)

not exactly sure what to take from yesterday

On the positive side the team played with a smile.
Being Xmas everybody in the crowd was in good humour
Knowing the way United just have to play in every game against shit opposition you knew they would keep going forward and you knew at 2 0 they would not sit back and play the game out

I fully expect the same against Newcastle and Bournemouth and reading in the cup
I managed to get 7/4 yesterday with BetFred for United to win both halves and if i see anything similar for Bournemouth and reading i will be on that as well

On a more serious note we still saw the defensive frailties in the defence
It is not unreasonable to suggest that Huddersfield might have had 3
Up front we saw how thin we are when Martial did not play
I have always said that our best attack is the pace those two bring to the team
Now the problems arise for Ole
Jesse had a superb first half but faded as he often does in the second half
Lukaku is back next game to slow things down. What does Ole,or anyone do with that lump??

Why was Avram Glazer sat in the stand sat next to the usual snug looking Scouse Ed?
Avram wasn't in the crowd to watch a soccer match. He doesn't give a shit.I would go as far as to say he possibly does not even understand the game
So it must have been money related to get him away from a hot Florida beach

It is the usual 3 wise monkeys of hear, speak and see no evil from the owners

So was he around to meet Jose's representatives and stayed on in Manchester?
Was he around to discuss transfer targets with Ole?Unlikely
Was he around to discuss the sales of any of DDG,Martial,Pogba?
Was he around to discuss new contracts for Valencia and Mata?

Over to you for your opinions

3 much needed points there.

Chelsea and Arsenal are catch able if we keep picking up the points. If new manager bounce doesn't last and we go back to playing like we have only just had the rules of football described to us by someone who half remembered seeing someone play FIFA once then we're still fornicate.

We really need to pick up a quality defender in the window.

How many times has that been said?
Never mind ALL managers have hundreds of millions of pounds available to them don't they
And if we don't get a defender it's the managers fault
And if we get a cheap defender that nobody other than Scouse Ed can understand then that is also the managers fault as he chose him
Well he did didn't he??
Nobody in the right mind would have bid for Virgil can Dijk at that price.Would they?
Liverpool will never get their money back with shirt sales for that bum
