I meant the La Liga. But even if they had progressed further in CL, I doubt if they'd have beaten Barca. They were just too fricking good.

Pep Guardiola's Barcelona team where among the best to ever play, totally dominating La Liga, but other team beat them usually in cup competitions. While at Madrid Ronaldo scored a bag full of goals, some of them spectacular, he is always a candidate for player of the year, but at the end of his career will his trophy cabinet be as full as he would like?
