F**k him. If he reckons he wouldn't win trophies with us then so be it. The guy had the opportunity to join us twice in the past and he screwed us twice (Saints + Spurs). Why on earth would he do it at the third approach? It's obvious he doesn't fancy the idea. Period.
How did he screw us? If I remember correctly Spurs bid for him, we didn't. And 99 out of 100 players would choose Real over United, you are really going to hold that against him?

You sure?

Generally, choosing another club over United is ok to me. I only want us to sign players who are keen on the jersey (primarily at least) and not (only) the payday. United can't be and shouldn't be anyone's plan B.

Spurs showed what everyone except Mourinho knew. Liverpool are pretty strong going forward but the defence is absolute shite. Genius to park the bus against them and scarcely threaten their backline for 90 mins

playing at anfield is different to playing them at your own ground. I do agree we should've been abit more adventurous, but you cannot compare the two games

City somehow don't lose their unbeaten record when Palace miss a last minute penalty! :grr:

I thinks its a case of playing to your strengths and controlling the flow of the game rather than just accepting what the opposition will give you. We have much better talent on offense and when we impose our will on the game the defense is usually up to the job. However when we try and shut up the shop and let the opposition attack with wave after wave sooner or later we will let in goals and let the opposition believe that they can push us around their confidence grows and our diminishes.

In some cases parking the bus and holding on to a 1 or 2 nil win is the thing to do because the points are more important than the entertainment value but it should not be our game play from the opening whistle.

For the same reason we wouldn't have got rid of Fergie if he had finished 5th then 6th in last 2 seasons. He's earned the right not to be sacked, however I sense that even he admits to himself now that's he's out of ideas and I strongly expect him to resign (or "go upstairs") this summer.

City beat Sputs disappointingly. If we lose to WBA tomorrow or at Bournemouth in midweek, or get 2 draws, they will be champs (N)

Was going to happen.

They've been the best team by far this season.

The bastards.

Would have been nice if we'd not given it them by losing to bottom of the league though.

So Wenger to leave at the end of the season. Him and Fergie were the last of their kind.

Must be a sad day for the Gunners even though they want him out

I hope they struggle to find a manager and slide down *evil laugh

They'll be fine.

Top manager but stayed too long.

I'd be surprised if he managed another club.

Maybe he will have a go at managing the French national team.

It would be cool to see man like Wengy in international football.

Or maybe just moving upstairs at the Emirates? Honestly, I don't see him managing elsewhere from now on. Once again, Fergie would be his blueprint.

Disagree, they spent half a mill on a celebration party for the game against us and didn't get to use it
What an anti climax to the season
Best side ever according to the desperate hack pack and it's one of the most boring ends to a season ever
Talked about the quad all year, and they lose the FA Cup, lose the CL, and don't even get to celebrate the league
