Allardyce to be Sacked

Tue Sep 27, 2016 2:04 pm

Having a meeting to save his job today after he was filmed advising some rich people on how to get away with third party ownership.

This seems like a good excuse to sack a guy that looks immediately like a mistake to appoint.

What is so wrong with talking about work around a rule? It's not like he is taking bribe.

If 400.000 is nothing for you then I'd like to have your job.

400,000 pound sterling obviously.

That would buy you a five bedroom house in Britain. Or a cupboard in London.

Probably just an excuse to fire him after he embarrassed himself in his only game in charge by admitting he couldn't control his own players.

I find it quite humourous in a "schadenfreude" kind of way that Big Sam has coveted this job for the last 20 years...and then as soon as he reaches the pinnacle and "plants that flag on the summit of the mountain", he promptly goes and falls off!

Still at least he can retire as England's "greatest" ever manager, what with his 100% win record :P

Apparently there is 10 premiere league managers involved in this sting too. They are saying 8 English managers and 2 foreign.

He's an idiot

Managers and players cover their mouths during games so no one knows what they are saying but you get the England manager openly talking to random businessmen about getting around FA rules and transfers etc

It seems it was a mutual decision so Sam knows what he did - if it he felt it was unfair he would have forced the FA to sack him and pay him compensation

Regardless of the reality, the FA have been really pleased with him so this isnt why he is sacked

I still think its pathetic by the telegraph they set this up. What did they gain from this? Ruin a mans life. Take away his dream job. The pathetic thing is they didnt even incriminate him, but he was sacked for slagging off his employers

It will be Gareth Southgate for the next 4 matches

The long-term favourite seems to be Glenn (Eileen) Hoddle again!
