Former Newcastle midfielder Tiote dies

Mon Jun 05, 2017 5:32 pm

Very sad news from China

I remember him tearing us apart in a couple of games and that was back when we were actually a very good side.

He was a really good player in his prime and I really thought we should've signed him at one stage

Really sad news

Quite a few said that probably including me after seeing how he played against us. I'm sure we would have looked closer at him after his performances against us and decided against the move which was probably for the best considering his level at 30 was the Chinese second division.
