Heaton Foster and Butland I would say are class. Would have all3 of them as top 5 in the league
2 of them used to be at United ofcourse 8-)

Because the rest of the England keepers are also shite
Butland? Pickford?
Would you honestly back them against the best International teams in the world?
Yes. Would definitely back them ahead of Hart. He's had his chances, and he's failed. the most overrated keeper we've ever had.

You're misreading my question. We don't have a top class keeper is what I'm saying. Not that we don't have one better than Hart. None of those keepers even play champions league football

Just compare who you would class as our best keepers at the moment to our keepers in 1998. David Seaman, Nigel Martyn and Tim Flowers. No comparison at all

Seaman is leagues above the others, who I'd rank alongside the current crop.

He was the last great English keeper.

I'd say Martyn and Flowers were better than the current crop. Martyn in his prime was in the top 2 or 3 keepers in the premiership for a good couple of years

Palace lose 1-0 at Burnley and are the first team in PL history to lose the first 4 games and not score a single goal.

Their next 3 games are... City, United and Chelsea

He raised his boot and kick the keeper in the face. Not red?

Watching without replay it looked like a dumb play on Mane's part but I didn't think there was any intent to cause injury.

He was late to the contest and kicked the guy in the head. How is it even up for debate

Yep. dangerous play and I dont see why there is a debate - His foot was high and at a players head. You should be using better judgement in a situation like that

Frank de Boer fired after 4 games.

Why bring in a manager with a long term vision and a with a preffered very different style of football than the club/team/players are used to, only to judge him after those first few games?!

I understand there is a lot of money at stake but don't go for Frank de Boer if you aren't willing to give him the time he needs...

It's so typical of football in general and the English leagues in particular. With the amount of money available to Premier League clubs have no patience, they are frightened of falling behind the league and spending the season in a relegation battle.

4 games no matter how bad is ridiculous. It is not even one of the top club.

Hope Palace get relegated on the back of that...IMO they were very lucky to get a manager of his quality... and then to replace him with Roy Hodgson!

I wouldn't say he 'kicked' the keeper, he tried to get his foot on ball and mistimed it.. for me, it's harsh

didn't nani have similar incident with arbeloa? I wouldn't give a red for that

With Hogson they would probably survive, nothing more.

F**k him. If he reckons he wouldn't win trophies with us then so be it. The guy had the opportunity to join us twice in the past and he screwed us twice (Saints + Spurs). Why on earth would he do it at the third approach? It's obvious he doesn't fancy the idea. Period.

that was my initial reaction. And besides, he's too injury prone and I think we did good in signing back Zlatan as he is more familiar with Jose's system.

I like Bale and he is World Class. Lets see how he does this year. He will be around 29 next year if he decides then to join us - I rather would prefer a Griezmann over him with Rashford and Martial getting more chances
