This is Phil Jones time to shine.

Just after kick off, race from the stands and launch a 2 footed tackle at Salah, then rubgy tackle Firminho and rain down punches on him UFC style.

I see on Facebook that the Liverpool fans are arranging their infamous wlcome for the team oach again, jsut like they did for us and City last season, and you can bet your arse the Police, FA and EPL will do fornicate all about it.

Always the victims it's never their fault

Jammy bastards.

We were really unlucky

We made all the chances and they didn't make any\11
It's actually quite a good result. Most thought it might have been a 4 or 5 goal thrashing. And it could have been!

You have to take the positives as i am sure Ole will do
"The kids have learnt another lesson"."Give it 3 or 4 years" "it is a project in action"

The truth is what we learned today is
1 Wan-Bissaka was taken apart at this level
James can't cross
As was said in the TV commentary"The £50m centre half came up against the £80m centre half for a corner and the cheaper centre half Van Dijk scored by out jumping Maguire

Nothing jammy about it at all.

We were made to look what we are, a mid table team.
We've bought players off mid table teams for inflated prices, and thats where we are mid table scrapping for a Europa League spot.
Anyone who thinks Fernandes is the saviour is deluded.
VAR ruled out a perfectly good goal for Liverpool, De Gea caught out again, hes fragile.

In 90mins we had about 30 good minutes.

The saviour? No. A positive direction? I believe so. I don't think Pereira would find a spot in a mid table team in this league by the way. He couldn't even hold a place in a struggling team in Spain. If Fernandes does anything close to what he's currently doing week in, week out for us, he'd be a massive upgrade.

Wijnaldum, Mane, Van Dijk, Henderson, Lallana, etc. all came from teams of humble standing. So it's not the teams you buy from that are the issue, but the actual players you buy from them.
A lot of these guys playing for Liverpool were already in this league, and we just didn't spot them. Klopp on the other hand, did, and he didn't have Ed to scupper the deals.

Perrira was offered to Sporting as part of the Fernandes deal and they didn't want him
He's been out on loan to Granada and Valencia and they sent him back. They didn't want him
At 24 he's not a young lad learning at having been at Old Trafford for 6 years now and unable to hold a place down tells you all you need to know
But as the fourth lowest earner at United he is a typical Glazer budgie ie cheap
