Technically I guess the board is still going. International breaks have always been slow but this one appears to have been a real killer.
DeGea
Valencia Bailly Smalling Young
Fellaini Matic
Pogba
Lindgard Lukaku Sanchez
I cannot see Shaw starting this weekend only a week after being stretchered off with a head injury. Watford have some big lads and I think Mourinho will go with the most physical team he can to combat that. I think its time for Sanchez to step up and show he is worth being paid like one of the top players in the world.

Not bad at all! Not to call it too early, but it does seem we've stumbled on something good with Fellaini sitting with Matic. Allows the attacking players a lot more freedom of movement

A bit of complacency crept in there. Young's delivery in the first half was quality, second half was typical of our set piece delivery last season.

Ben Foster had a cracker against us as usual. We handed them a lifeline. I'm quite impressed with Watford, have to say

Good 1st half = stopped playing in 2nd half and it needed a wonder save from DDG to preserve the win!

Some positives overall but still a million miles away from where we need to be

The first half was a good professional performance, Watford came out of the block with lots of energy and tried to get an early goal and set to tone of the game. We handled their quick start and took control of the 1st half with some pretty good all round play. I do wish we would drop this tendency of letting teas back into the game. We really had a chance to put this game away in the first half and make it into a statement, instead we kept inviting Watford back and eventually they took that invitation and we needed super Dave to rescue us yet again.

Three well earned points against a team that's started the season well.
