Can he get the players back up, now the gloss is off?
BTW, in case my first comment sounds a bit daft. there was originally a type with Arsenal put in instead of Chelsea.
A bit of fun after drab evening watching us taking a drubbing.
That's the question. They have been two of our most important players.HuSsAiN wrote: ↑Wed Feb 13, 2019 9:18 amThis will be a difficult game, we never win in Stamford Bridge. I think it's two wins in the last 15 years.. something like that.
There are no replays, straight extra time & penalties.
Is Martial/Lingard fit?
Will Lukaku start?
Sanchez?Mata?
Perfect game to bounce back. Let's see the character of the boys
Why not McTominay instead of Pereira?ArizonaRed wrote: ↑Sat Feb 16, 2019 2:22 pmI would not be one bit surprised to see'

Young Jones Lindelöf Shaw
Matic
Pereira Herrera
Pogba
Lukaku Rashford
Fred could get the nod over Pereira, either way both would be checking into the "last chance" saloon. Very chancy to start either Chong or Gomes but having them available to inject some energy off the bench wouldn't be the worst thing in the world.
I think that Herrera will be given the task of one-on-one coverage of Jorginho, hopefully stifling Chelsea's offense. If that's true, then we will need more creativity in midfield than I think McTominay can provide.Devil Pikney wrote: ↑Sat Feb 16, 2019 2:32 pmWhy not McTominay instead of Pereira?ArizonaRed wrote: ↑Sat Feb 16, 2019 2:22 pmI would not be one bit surprised to see'

That would probably give us a firmer midfield and allow Pogba a bit more freedom going forward.

"That's just how your luck sometimes goes, Mason will get his chance later on."
Young duo Angel Gomes and Tahith Chong have been training with United's first team in recent weeks and Solskjaer says the pair now have a "big chance" of being involved against Chelsea on Monday.
"It might be (time for Gomes or Chong to come in)," he added.
"We still have forward options but Angel and Chongy have been training with us all week, even the weeks leading up to this, so there is a big chance they will be involved."'

At the best of times Chelsea at home has become a big ask for United teams - I think we are something like 2 wins out of the last 15 games. I just don't see Ole starting the young players, but I could see Chong coming on for an injection of pace and free lags against Luiz.raycreative wrote: ↑Sun Feb 17, 2019 5:14 pmCoach has just left CarriingtonDaveMart wrote: ↑Fri Feb 15, 2019 6:17 pm'The caretaker United boss was hoping to involve 17-year-old Mason Greenwood in the squad to face Chelsea but revealed the youngster has also been struck with an injury blow.

Gomes and Chong both have traveled
They have also had Mason Greenwood in the physio's room all weekend trying to get him fit after he injured himself a couple of days ago
he has failed his fitness test and has not traveled
