Re: transfer window

Thu Jan 09, 2020 4:27 pm

Now found out what the meeting room was set up for and who the people with foreign accents were
The meeting today was Ed Woodward,Matt Judge,Ole and United's overseas scouts
The meeting was to decide who they want to keep, and trigger extensions where necessary and who they would like to sell and who they would like to buy.
Why have they left it until a week INTO the transfer window to think about this????

Cameron Borthwick-Jackson recalled from his loan at Tranmere to bolster the defence
That should work out well for us as he managed to play only 6 out of 60 games at Tranmere as he couldn't get in the team even in that shit division

Reports that young wants out in this window to Iter and is refusing to play, doesn't even want to be on the bench.
This is how players repay the club that has given them a living well past their sell by date, let the birth canal fornicate off, what a fornicate role model to the younger players.

Read my note in "Is Ole losing the dressing room"
Young is going through a divorce and is looking forward to getting away from his ex wife
On top of that the Italians are offering him a good salary and a 2 season contract
United are offering him a cheap one year contract
So what would you do Sigmar???This is a professional footballer AND a human being with personal issues

Please don't make out he is shitting on the club as this is a club that will shit on anybody ie fans, sponsors, players, everybody for a few dollars
United have offered him a contract extension because like Mata it will be cheaper than going out and buying a fullback
These many birth canals have all the fans argueing with each other over
Pogba
DDG
Jones
Sanchez
Lukaku
Lingaard
and now Young
It can't all be every player.
Might the blame lie somewhere else with you know who.Indeed can you or anybody tell me what Ed Woodward's plans are for this transfer window, the next transfer window or the long term policy because it looks to me like we are selling or extending cheap contracts with every Tom,Dick and Fred and are buying nothing of quality
But then again that is purely a guess as Ed Woodward and the Glazers have not spoken YET AGAIN

But i am sure you all know everything above and don't want to hear it again do you
Where has the Devil and his positive vibes vanished to??

I am informed that the deal with Sporting is done

Well the player has agreed terms and United and Lisbon have agreed a fee
BUT as usual United don't have cash so they are argueing over how many years to pay

Well Ed Woodward has done it again
He has almost screwed up the Lisbon deal
Everything was done and dusted and then Ed Woodward threw his curve ball

Thy had agreed a fee of £50m approx and the lad had agreed personal terms of £98k a week
So it's easy.Write the cheque and sign him up
Now United have no cash(that's another story) so they want to pay over 3 years.
Lisbon want it over 2 years so the deal stalls
Lisbon have the solution though.United can pay over however long they want but they must pay extra as Lisbon are going to sell the IOU as they are selling because they want the cash
So the deal stalls again
Whilst they are talking about that United offer them Rojo as part of the deal.Lisbon are interested but they can't agree close to a price
Also Rojo is on £160k a week and Lisbon won't give him that.
If United want to put him in the deal they must pay him off which United don't want to do(remember they have no cash!!)
The deal will probably still happen but it has gone from a done deal to a Ed Woodward pantomime again

Another one about to be screwed up
Ajax are selling Donny van de Beek.A player i have seen play, against Chelsea and i like him
Ajax are a selling club and he is available now for about £80m
United have sent scouts to see him and they must have reported back favourably
So go and get him
Why wait until summer when everybody will want him
The other teams don't want him now as he is European Cup tied so they can't use him this season.United don't have that problem

So, players out in the last year:

Fellaini
Valencia
Young
Smalling
Herrera
Sanchez
Lukaku
Darmian
Rojo (soon)

I've probably even missed 1 or 2

Players in:
AWB
Maguire
James

Blimey - I'll get me boots!

Glazernomics

But eveybody knows that and don't want to hear it
Just get behind Fred,Perreira,Lingard and James and pass the rum

And don't forget you can soon add Pogba to that list
But he's a greedy bastard so thank goodness for the Glazers getting possibly £150m and saving £300k a week
I am sure they will use it to help the club

Looking silly is not important
Money is important and nothing else

With Young gone there's a million or two transfer fee in and a saving on the wages of £600k a month.I bet they don't dither around with this.I bet he will be gone by Monday
They have a replacement for him already. We will be linked to 3 or 4 names before a declaration that "there is no value in the market" or "everybody we looked at was a greedy bastard" or "we have a ready made 16 old coming through.Wait and see"

As i have permanently been saying it is still going backwards.AND HAPPILY

It's NEVER this club
It's always the player

We have pissing around with Fernandes all week.
The deal was done a week ago.
£50m fee and £98k a week wages.Unfortunately we don't have £50m and we ain't going to borrow it.I am not even sure we can borrow yet more with the current debt
We want Lisbon to take an IOU,which they won't
So we want to stick Rojo at a daft fee up their bum and United want Lisbon to pay him the daft wages we negotiated, which they won't
So the truth is the deal is now in the balance even though it was done

Now they agreed the Young deal last night. He is already in Italy having a medical and the whole deal may even be finished today
Funny that how fast United CAN move when it's money IN

According to SSN, it's more or less agreed in principle. No Rojo the other way as part of the deal.

"United will pay £43m up front for the Portugal international with an extra £17m in potential add-ons."

According to the article, a big sticky point was that United didn't want him to play against Benfica tonight. However, both Sporting and Bruno were keen that he would, and as long as he comes through fine, he should be a United player next week.

So Relly if Sky Sports have got this right - get ready for another epic battle ala Nani, Ronaldo, and Anderson!!!

Re: transfer window

Fri Jan 17, 2020 8:40 pm

I GUARANTEE that United will not/cannot pay £43m up front

I have a friend who makes his living by putting loans for football deals in place.
You cannot just go to HSBC and say lend me £150m as i want to buy 2 players. It is done through the likes of the Lego pension fund or a wealthy Saudi Prince
As an example Brighton who are owned by very rich football nuts still had to go to a bank/my friend to get the money
He got American Express to lend it which is why Brighton play at the Amex Stadium

Spurs used a merchant bank and a hedge fund to borrow, over 2 years for the new stadium which is why Jose is going to be pissed off as they now have no money for the forseable future

Now as for United you have to ask where has all the money goneIt is reputed that the glazers hae had £1billion out
Compare that with City who put £1billion in and it tells you all you nee to know.

The half a Fellaini, looka like Chong has his agents in Italy trying to find him a new club as he is refusing to sign a new contract and he is out of contract in a few months
It says something that a uselss pile of non improving crap that can't even get a game in this shit clubs first team wants off.

He's a greedy bastard !!!

Alas with Ed, there's gotta be drama!!

BBC reports:
Sporting are demanding 80m euros (£68m) for the 25-year-old, which United are unwilling to pay.

The deal was done over a week ago but as usual Ed Woodward changed the goal posts

Simply put the deal was agreed at 60m euros.
United had no cash and wanted to pay over 3 years.
Sporting said fine by us but we need the cash now so we are going to sell the IOU.With legal fees and interest that is just under 3m euros over 3 years so we want another 3m off United.
United clearly understood from minute one that Sporting were selling ONLY because they need the cash

The Ed Woodward changes again and says they insist on putting Rojo in the deal who United value at 30m.
Sporting value him at 15m so if that deal is to be done Sporting want the 15m difference to be added to Fernandes so now it is 75m
Rojo will not leave United unless he is paid up his £160k a week contract
United won't/can't pay it so United insist Sporting pay him significantly more than they pay any other Sporting Player
Sporting say if we have to pay that we want another 5m euros so now it's 80m which United won'/can't pay

If anybody can/possibly has screwed a deal up it's Ed Woodward and Matt Judge so now it's wait and see,yet again.
Have you seen how quick they have got Ashley Youngs deal through and that's because they are saving a wage and getting a transfer fee in.I half suspect they will have the debt collectors in Italy if the transfer money isn't paid by Monday

Lol, I don't have the energy anymore. I will more then give him the doubt if we sign him, and hopefully he changes my opinion on Portuguese players.

But we are apparently pretty far off on the money up front and there is a good chance this won't happen.
